To my knowledge we don't have clarity on Khashoggi yet. Rumors have gone around about him being connected to the Saudi massacre in Vegas.His death then would have actually being payback for that. Another possibility is that he was part of the op and other princes within the kingdom(dopey) sought to silence him before he testified about Vegas. Signs point to him being a case officer if you ask me. Allegiance at the end of his life is foggy though. I think we will learn more about him eventually.
