This was posted 3 days ago, and I didn't see a whole lot of follow up on it, so did some digging and speculating.
Valerie Jarrett was appointed to the BOD of Innocence Project on Dec. 11, 2019.
The Innocence Project was formed to help people who have been wrongly convicted of a crime (mostly murder). Yah, good intentions, but can be used for bad things as well as I discuss later.
Another board member of the InnocenceProject is Janet Reno - yah, the same Janet Reno under whose direction, 83 truly innocent people were murdered by Federal Agents at Waco and Ruby Ridge. I bet she's really concerned about innocent people wrongly convicted.
The Board Chair is Jack Taylor - his father Brian is part owner of Pine River Capital LLP, and Jack is the Global Head of Commercial Real Estate. The company is kinda sketchy, the ownership of the Limited Partnership hides behind a shell company "Corporation Services Company" as registrant in NY, CAL, NJ, MN, FL, and the UK. Pine River has a subsidiary, Future Bright Holdings Limited, registered in Bermuda by Codan Services Limited, a shell company that registers 768 other companies in Bermuda.
My impression then is that Jack Taylor and Pine River Capital are busy investing, trading, and laundering money nationally and internationally.
Why would big players like Valerie, Reno, and Taylor be so interested in helping little guys who are wrongly convicted?
Speculation: a lawyer from IP goes to a real murderer doing life without parole, and gives him a proposition - I'll buy a judge for you, spring you, and in return you do something that's in your skill set for us. Oh, if you ever think about ratting on us, I'll just buy another judge and say whoopsie, this guy is really guilty, and back you go for life. And I know other guys I've sprung, and I can arrange a meeting with them and your family besides. So if you
get caught, don't even think about ratting.
Now that Trump is mopping up Clowns previously available to do wetwork for Valerie and company, they have to look for other resources to do wetwork. So Valerie gives a ton of cash to Jack and the Innocence Project, gets on the board, and is put in touch with people who handle such things.
