>>787152 Really good song IMO, by the way.
>Anyone here speculation that Jane Mansfield was a tranny? Further speculation that Aerosmith's "Janies Got A Gun" is about her?
I dont' think the first Tranny to be on the cover of Playboy happened in the mid 50s nor could I believe Hollywood would pick a tranny to be the replacement M Monroe. I say that premise is ridiculous (but will admit stranger things have happened.
As for the song, The whole premise about Mansfield's influence is wrong in it's entirety. Don't know where that ever came from but it has absolutely no truth it.
Being an audiophile, and weird like we are, I already knew this, but went digging for some to supplement this post and came across a very interesting example of of how WikiPedia contains errors that go uncorrected and maybe even re-uncorrected to hide truths or mislead the reader is it doesn't fit <theiragenda.
I've watched documentaries and seen interviews where Steven Tyler confirms this first scenario:

Yet the Wikipedia illusion changes the fact of the matter:

Not a big deal, but whoever things Wiki is gospel ought to able to see that isn't the case pretty quick by reading that.
