This is why BB and Durham issued those rare public statements disagreeing with conclusions reached by Horowitz in his report which then triggered the Dems backlash against the two. It appears that Horowitz would have been crucified during his testimony had these footnotes, which contradicted conclusions in his report, not been redacted.

McConnell used the nuclear option already and as the Pelosi and Schiff have only continued to overstep House authority and attempt to bully and insult the Senate in this trial. he could do so again. The Government is operating in uncharted territory and there has been an ongoing coup to remove @POTUS. If the Dems get blown up as it appears they will if witnesses are called, that would be the time to keep foot on their necks and confirm a new Justice. Especially since SCOTUS has been 1 Justice short for over a year now. Law clerks can get away with writing her opinions for only so long.
