What bugs me about the timelines notion, which I've talked about plenty, is that if a timeline changes, how is it that we might retain some memory of a different timeline that one of our alter egos was on? If our current self has jumped timelines, then why don't our memories also jump with us and alter to match the current timeline we're in?
Just noticing items in our current surroundings that don't seem right based on memory, bothers me because why wouldn't memory change too?
I have no answer to this dilemma.
Other than believing that mind/spirit are NOT identically equal to the brain and physical body to which they are bound.
