I've been gone and just back to see this. Senator Kennedy specified which House Manager the question goes to. Have they been doing that? I haven't sen that happen before. This could get interesting with questions to Schiff if this is allowed

anons, you are looking at his role wrong. He is there to preside over the hearing and enforce decorum.

I was shocked Kennedy specified a name and wondered if that had been going on while I was away.

It should NOT be alright to do that. It is a way to control the presentation of the Party. It should be the lead counsel's choice to determine who is best at addressing a point not a Senator to say who they want.

I am concerned Roberts is comped also but there is too much judgment being passed on every move Robert's makes.

He as not done anything wrong here. He has protected both the trial here and future prosecutions that might spin off from these proceedings.

I didn't know Senators specifically named attorneys to answer questions. I have heard the attorney named in the question as saying something but every question that I heard has been announced as directed towards President's Counsel or House Managers. Kennedy was the 1st one I saw that asked a specific people to answer his question. He asked for Nadler and Philbin.

I must have missed that. It was wrong then and it is wrong now to allow it. It would be Pat Cipollone and Adam Schiff's call as to which attorney is going to respond to a question
