Queen, Prince Charles Hold Emergency Meeting Over Scandal-Plagued Prince Andrew

The Queen is still fuming.

Queen Elizabeth II reportedly held an emergency meeting with Prince Charles to discuss Prince Andrew, who has been heavily caught up in a scandal over his longtime friendship with convicted pedophile and child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

The two gathered at Sandringham to chat about “family matters,” The Sun reported.

A royal source said: “Both had hoped the Duke of York could perhaps be rehabilitated back into public life in time but that is now looking increasingly unlikely.”

The Sun revealed that a UK police probe into Andy’s US paedo pal Jeffrey Epstein could be reopened after it was dropped in 2016.

The news came 24 hours after a US law chief shamed the Duke by revealing the FBI tried to quiz him over Epstein but got “zero co-operation”.

The FBI has a witness who says she saw Andrew dancing with “sex slave” Virginia Roberts Giuffre at London’s Tramp nightclub in 2001.

A source reportedly close to the Duke told The Sun: “The Duke is more than happy to talk to the FBI but he hasn’t been approached by them yet. He is angry about the way this is being portrayed.”

But The Daily Mail, another British paper, said that’s not the case.

“Prince Andrew ignored a letter sent to his home from one of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims who begged him to speak to the FBI ‘in the interests of justice’, according to a lawyer for one of the victims,” the Mail reported.

Gloria Allred represents Jane Doe 15, who claims she was abused by Epstein when she was 15 years old, and sent the letter on her behalf to the Duke of York saying his testimony could help her find ‘peace’.

Allred said that at first, she sent it to Andrew’s lawyers in the UK back in December.

But when his lawyers told her to send it directly to Prince Andrew, she never got a response – despite a FedEx delivery receipt confirming the royal had received it.

Prince Andrew in November sat down for an interview with the BCC about his friendship with Epstein, the convicted pedophile whose death in prison in August was ruled a suicide.

It did not go well.

After the disastrous interview, Prince Andrew announced that he was stepping back from his official duties. Now, he’s been kicked out of his offices at Buckingham Palace.

Andrew’s mother, the Queen, authorized her son’s eviction from the London palace in what is just “the latest humiliation for the beleaguered” Duke of York, The Times of London reported.

“It has become clear to me over the last few days that the circumstances relating to my former association with Jeffrey Epstein has become a major disruption to my family’s work and the valuable work going on in the many organisations and charities that I am proud to support,” Andrew said in a statement.

Prince Andrew palled around with Epstein for years, visiting his Manhattan penthouse, his Florida mansion, and his private island in the Caribbean. At one point, when the two were together in London, the prince was pictured with Guiffre, who claims that he had sex with her when she was just 17 years old.

Andrew has vehemently denied the pair ever had sex, but Guiffre has detailed the evening several times, including once in a lawsuit against Epstein.

What the statue of limitations on rape?

Many jurisdictions have a statute of limitations for ten years or less. California, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Montana, Texas and Washington have a ten-year statute of limitations. Maine has an eight-year statute. North Dakota has a seven-year statute while Oregon, Vermont, Arkansas, New Hampshire and Hawaii have a six-year statute of limitations. Connecticut has a five-year statute and Florida has a four-year statute. Minnesota has the shortest statute of limitations of three years.

A few states have statutes of limitations that are longer than ten years in duration. For example, Pennsylvania has a twelve-year statute of limitations. I am mostly supportive of the Pauls. I'm much more of a fan of Ron Paul than Rand. Ron was very focused on the Fed and fiscal policy - while Rand is a little less dialed into that and tends to focus on other parts of the libertarian stance.

I used to consider myself a libertarian, I still identify with a lot of those ideas but in that time I've learned that there does need to be an element of statehood or community. A collection of enforced rules and most importantly - a fucking border. Libertarianism is just a little bit too disconnected from reality for me. I feel like they'd watch their neighbor get plundered and just say "glad it's not me."

Poisoned Five Premature Babies With Morphine, Milk Mixture

A nurse was arrested by German police earlier this week on suspicion of attempted manslaughter after it was alleged that she administered morphine to five premature babies at a medical center late last year.

Hospital staff at Ulm University Medical Center in southern Germany went into high alert on December 20 after five premature newborns, aged between a day and a month old, began to experience life-threatening breathing difficulties around the same time, reported the Associated Press, citing German officials.

The hospital later alerted police after the infants’ urine tests revealed the painkiller morphine was present in their systems. German authorities responded to the report and recovered a syringe filled with morphine and breast milk from an employee’s locker during their search.

“We have to assume that a crime was committed with criminal energy at our hospital,” said Klaus-Michael Debatin, medical director of the hospital’s pediatric department, as reported by the New York Times.

The nurse in question, whose identity has not been publicly released in accordance with German law, has since been detained by police officers and appeared in front of a judge on Wednesday.

District Attorney Christof Lehr told reporters that the nurse denied administering morphine to the children, but she will be ordered to remain in police custody, as her attempted manslaughter charges are still pending. Lehr also noted that the woman’s psychological state is being evaluated as part of the ongoing investigation.

The five premature children given the morphine are not expected to suffer permanent damage from the event. "Only because of immediate action taken by the staff could the five lives be saved," said Bernard Weber, chief of Ulm’s police, during a press conference on Thursday, according to AFP.

"We very much regret that this incident could have happened, and we sincerely apologize to the parents and children," the hospital said in a statement obtained by the outlet. "We can all very much sympathize with the parents' concern for the health of their children."
