I read the comments earlier from POTUS at the Governors ball. Here's the video.
My gut feeling is that he's giving a lot of these rat governors a bridge, or a chance to come clean and do the right thing. If not, they can jump off that bridge. He said he's doing something different this year. Asking press to leave, then they can ask questions or make suggestions. POTUS is being gracious and the sneaky bastards should realize it. Probably the closest thing they'll get to a deal and they better take it.
