they are Brooklyn carpet baggers who took a family franchise in the drug city on the trade route to Montreal where all the 'language' schools are.

they are not Vermonters in the minds of many.

to many in Vermont the only 'real true Vermonters' have to have been there for many generations.

it's a low-self-esteem place, that had once been totally deforested for cattle ranchers and all the people run off the land.

after that the Manhattan set would buy up a town and 'summer' there when they so felt like it and pretend to be 'dairy farmers.'

When vermonters escape Vermont, realizing how despicable the hilltop dwellers are who rule that place, and how most people are kept as wage slaves unless they buy into certain behaviors that supposedly 'define' Vermont, or are wealthy enough to own land, which of course has greatly restricted use . . . people who escape the drug-cult nature of so much that goes on there, and the fact that Vermont boys are let to run wild . . . as long as they morph into 'angry hillbilly who hates out of staters' . . . .

well Vermonter who escape usually will not tell you the details of what they endured . . . due to the laxity of child services and a state welfare office that demonized men and fathers . . .

I've seen it with the 'bon fire' peopel who squat on a 200 acre farm, all of them on welfare, with dirty children running free and getting dollars for bringing beers, and the 'adults' (who are in their early 20's ) will talk about 'when the old aunt dies' and they can finally get a few dollars to do something other then live in a shack or an old toyota truck bed . . .

Vermont has a lot of good, but Vermonters . . . they aren't always the smartest or the most moral.

I wouldn't raise children there.

hey, as a person who knows the place, please tell us what is hyperbole, and what I am wrong about?

you know full well that your state is a classist hellhole unless yo are loaded and wealthy.

give us a clue, how am I wrong?

I'm not saying it's bad people, I'm saying that a lot of bad behavior is encouraged, and a lot of willful rich people get away with treating the rest as, essentially, wage slaves.

and am I right about Child Services? Are there any men who work for them?

It would be nice if Vermont were a freer place.

tell me how I am wrong?

and so you see it: the typical reaction of a Vermonter when faced with the reality of what their state turned into.

how the French Canadians were written out of History. How they maintained their real farms even through the period of the Cattle ranchers turning it into a wasteland, and the Europeans mining and turning it into a toxic waste dump.

how they lived through it but the 'story' was always about these grubby land-theive types who were the 'green mountain boys' and set up what some might call . . .but I won't.

anyway a lot of that was driven off.

and the French survived through it. Meanwhile the Manhattan reptile overlords bought up whole towns.

and then in the 1960's all the 'live off the land' 'hippy's' would go there and be 'communal' which usually meant running a drug trade on a sub par piece of land they'd call a 'commune'.

the land of extreame hypocracy.

and the whole 'who is and who is not a Vermonter' or a 'real true Vermonter'.

and good people are there, yes. You just need to be very well able to fend off the constant barrage of the state government ever encroching on your land use rights.

The person who says 'Jesum Crow' knows full well that I know.

and probably doesnt' know what to say back.

because this kind of dirty vermont insider information isn't available usually.

but if you know Vermonters, you know that many do know taht a lot of very sick-minds seem to rule the place.

they feast of off federal subsidies to pay for their throphy hilltops.

I know.

I'm giving out a harsh narrative today, aren't I?

Vermonters know that their state government is a communist/marxist cesspool.

and a lot of the other things I've said are . . . culturally valid.

I'm sorry I'm so hard on your state, I've seen a lot more than I tell you here.

PS: there are other town where the Rockerfeller types bought the whole town. (not woodstock).

Keep the flame going!

maybe if Vermonters who left all went back and took residence for a while you might be able to get a voter base to take back your state government.

but when the state usurps all the water rights, and restricts development, why would sane people go 'buy in?'

you're surviving, I applaud that.

And the englightened people will take you aside and talk sense. But when a group is nearby and the haters are close by, they get mum and won't talk openly or honestly.

oh, I thought I was speaknig to an native English speaker.

you obviously don't know common themes that English speakers use to describe events more tastefully so as to not be hyper-dramatic.

never mind. Read his story. Celebrate his life.
