It was my meme. I don't know what the veteran was thinking, but sometimes, as much as anyone might appreciate appreciation, it is a little weird how things get in public with the "thank you for your service" said in loud voices. And getting carried to your seat up in front of the cameras. Maybe the guy is shy, and this might have been horrifying in a sense. Just trying to think of him, but probably am just projecting.
