1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

In Matthew 5:21… Jesus is teaching us that an act that is done only in our mind and imagination is equivalent to actually committing the act with our body:

"“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ 22But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.

and a few verses later He says the same thing about lust:

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

If you think imagining a sinful act but not physically committing it makes it OK, think again. Believers are held responsible for not only their acts, but their thoughts.

Your post >>8218628 dangerously implies that we can think anything we want and as long as we don't actually commit the murder or theft or adultery etc., no problem.

That is contrary to what the Son of God taught.

Remember the word "knowingly"? Now you know.
