Best strategy I know is to create a stack that follows the silver/gold ratio.
If an ounce of gold buys 75oz of silver, keep 75oz of silver in your stack per ounce of gold. When the ratio changes, buy more of whatever balances the stack.
Also buy the stuff that's easiest to sell, because if you're wanting to cash out at a top, ASEs and 1/10 AGEs (or 1oz Buffalos) will sell much easier than generic rounds.
