what is it really that 'call to ' thing?

it's operational conditioning.

it's an imposition into people's heads.

seriously in a free society one would have ordanances and no exemptions of the sort 'oh our special population'.

but without their call every time, how would they be able to brain wash their people?

While Piccaso did have brillient periods of being an accomplished artist, and produced copius master works, the meaning of his work in his 'napkin drawing' phase is obvious to asute patrons of art. Let me explain.

the meaning of his works in that period were as if he was saying to the institutional art buyers 'you have important grant money for purchasing masterworks for future generations to enjoy, and I have a drawing that took me two minutes to do on a napkin and I'm going to sell it to you becuase you are not intelligent enough to recognize that this 2 minute piece of art really isn't worth reproducing in giant size as a legacy for the future. pay me now'

and they were, they were too stupid to know that his napkin drawings weren't really anything.

why did they mercilously bomb that city?

there are a lot of reasons.

Picaso was complex, and turned into a huckster by the end.

I certianly don't understand all his symbolism well enough, especially the important work you show here, to poo-poo it.

the napkin art, I say it's crap, he knew they were too stupid to recognize that just because it was 'him' tht didn't mean it should be made giant sized. the work you show is a non trivial masterwork.

it's worth perserving.
