Gerbil fren, those are links to posts in threads that have fallen off the catalog. Not sure how long the native 8kun archive takes, but 8ch took about 2-3 weeks/1 mo to archive threads in the native archives. (Archives are accessed through the catalog page and there's the archives link on the top right above the grid of active threads)
No one is purposely fucking around, that is just how this chan works. I would imagine that endchan is the same. You could go looksee on your board there and see.
I understand your upset and frustration b/c I went through this panic myself before 8ch shut down. BO talked to CM and then explained it to us. I posted the screencap if you want to see his explanation. There is nothing BO can do about it, but if you want to hit up CM on twitter to ask him to make an adjustment so threads are archived faster, go right ahead.

I was in an almost panic when that happened on 8ch and would not leave BO alone (I was very, very polite though) and he got his answer. I neglected to screencap the one where he explained the timing of the archives (almost 1 mo), but you could contact CM anyway.
