New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, recently announced that he will personally fund the creation of four charter schools in New York City. The announcement was welcomed by New York financier and education philanthropist, Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein, a long-time supporter of Bloomberg, has financed numerous charter schools across the country including the Maya Angelou schools in Washington DC, the highly acclaimed Bard High School Early College in New York City and the Harlem Link Charter School.
Bloomberg's funding will come through his foundation, the Young Men's Initiative, which is also funded by George Soros' Open Society Foundations. Once approved by the state Board of Regents, the co-ed charter high schools will open in September 2014, alongside four public schools in five high-poverty neighborhoods: in Brooklyn, the South Bronx, Queens and East Harlem. Both the public and charter schools will share a board of trustees, with Melanie Hartzog, a former City Hall official for Health and Human Services, as a proposed member.

Jeffrey Epstein also founded the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics at Harvard University in 2003 with a $30 million grant. Two Doctors Suspended for Accidentally Removing Trans Man’s Vagina
Two doctors at an exclusive medical practice in London have been suspended after accidentally removing the vagina of a transgender man who was requesting cosmetic surgery to add a penis and a hysterectomy.
After the doctors became aware of the mistake they had made, one of the doctors attempted to amend the consent form to legitimize the wrongful procedure.
Giulio Garaffa, a renowned penis consultant at the exclusive Harley Street medical center, accidentally carried out an unnecessary and unwanted procedure–removing the patient’s vagina, which they had not requested–and, when the mistake was realized, his colleague, Marco Capece, altered the form to make it appear as if consent had been given, a tribunal was told, according to The Daily Mail.
As part of the transitioning process, the patient consented for a hysterectomy and a metoidioplasty–a surgical procedure which removes skin, usually from the arm, and creates a makeshift penis.
A week after the initial procedure, the patient–known simply as Patient A–became aware that their vagina had been removed, moving the distraught individual to floods of tears.
The Daily Mail reported that “Dr Garaffa was found guilty of four charges of misconduct and was handed a five month suspension whilst Dr Capece was found guilty of three misconduct charges and suspended for 12 months.”

Two Harley Street doctors have been suspended after removing the vagina of a trans patient without his consent, in a case believed to be the first of its kind.
The man - who was transitioning from a woman - was left 'distraught' and in floods of tears after the irreversible gender reassignment surgery, a tribunal heard.
Giulio Garaffa, a renowned penis consultant, mistakenly carried out the procedure and his colleague Marco Capece 'in a moment of panic… dishonestly' altered a form to say that consent had in fact been given, a disciplinary panel was told.
The patient - who had consented to two other forms of surgery as part of the transitioning process - only discovered that his vagina had been removed a week afterwards.
