For those like me who find the strobing Maxine spam at the bottom of the page irritating, simply right click the image and select "Inspect Element". Javascript code editor appears with the offending inclusion highlighted. Hit delete - irritating GIF vanishes. (Firefox - may differ slightly in other browsers)
