Smokey and the Bandit, 1979, the plot involved the illegal importation of Coors beer easy of the Mississippi to Florida. At the time, it was illegal to sell Coors east of the Mississippi. The law was a remnant law of the 23rd Amendment to the Constitution which repealed the 18th. Many laws were passed then protecting Mob distribution syndicates.

Thanks to the movie, many distribution laws were rescinded including the Coors ban.

By 1989 Coors quality and taste had declined. Keystone was the answer to that problem. A cheap beer slotted between Old Milwaukee, Milwaukee's Best, Busch Beer, and Miller/Lite Budweiser and Schlitz, so that Coors could re slot itself as premium beer to the latter 3. It sorta worked, as Millennials and younger only know Schlitz for shitty Malt Liquor.

Typical screwball nussance suit. Most of the plastic on the Ocean is in thePacific. The countries discharging the vast majority are China and Indonesia. Even if Coke/Pepsi were responsible for most of that, US courts have no jurisdiction over this, particularly civil courts.

Coke/Pepsi are not responsible for what people do to empty soda bottles. The purchaser owns the bottle, he is responsible.

Gov laws and regulations describe what manifacturers can label as recyclable. Provided Coke/Pepsi aren't violating those rules, there is no civil Tort to sue over.

Further it is not Coke/Pepsi fault that the soda bottles are not recycled. (In fact burdensome rules regarding plastic recycling, in particular, are the reason plastic recycling is uneconomic).

Coke/Pepsi do not manufacture the bottles, they purchase them. So if the bottles don't comply with recycling label rules, if the manufacturer certified they were to Coke/Pepsi, the bottle manufacturer is responsible.

I don't think the suit has ANY Merritt, and I don't think it's particularly notable. It's just agitprop.

Matt Walsh is a division fag looking for 2 word answers from a philosophical perspective. Conservative and particularly Paleo Libertarians are appalled by this. I'm appalled in your face sexuality period. Irresponsible parents should have the burden of child reading removed from them. People's public behavior should respect the mores of the community. If the community is too permissive or restrictive for you, you are free to move. The problem today is that mores and decided by 9 life long robe wearing gov employees deciding law suits brought by well funded left wing extremist.
