Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer expresses regret over his choice of words at an abortion rights rally in front of the Supreme Court the previous day, where he said Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh would "pay the price" for decisions they make in abortion rights cases. "I should not have used the words I did. They didn't come out the way I intended, but in no way was I making a threat. I never, never would do such a thing and Leader McConnell knows that. And Republicans, who are busy manufacturing outrage over these comments, know that too." Schumer says in response to earlier comments from Senators McConnell and Grassley.
