All schools in one township here just announced closing until March 20th. Then Spring break for two weeks, return in April.
Sibling with kids in that township sent this:
"So E learning for us. They are setting up meal pick up for our needy families. Breakfast and lunches for their kiddos. So that's good. It's available to all families but targeted to those in need."
Update 2:45 p.m.: All Avon schools will close through March 20 as two students are displaying symptoms of the novel coronavirus, district officials announced at a afternoon press conference Monday.
Avon Schools Superintendent Maggie Hoernemann said the precautionary measure is being taken as officials are working to determine how far the web of contact extends from these students.
The district will use e-learning days as much as possible, and will make learning packets available to families without internet access, Hoernemann said.

To reach families who require food assistance, cold food packages including 10 breakfasts, lunches and meals will be available to all families. Those packages can be picked up at Cedar Elementary School and Avon Middle School North on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon and at the administration center, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
