Anon, that would make things really interesting! I see vessels that make runs up from the Panama Canal Zone up the Pacific coastlines. They stop at Corinto, Nicaragua, then either the small port of Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico or the larger port of Manzanillo, also Mexico. After that it is usually Los Angeles/Long Beach and maybe a hop up to Oakland. A port call in Seattle is not normal for the container ships, usually only the bulk carriers. Then they reverse the route and head for Manzanillo or Lazaro Cardenas and back down all the way to the Canal Zone. If Guatemala is going to do a quarantine this is going to interrupt marine traffic into California.

Quick check of BBC shows nothing about cartel arrests but there is this stuff. What was that about some kind of bonds defaulting if pandemic declared?

It looks to me that we just have another visit from the "pearl clutcher" shills. Later the ones that have "the absolute state of these boards…." shite will show up, seems the shills have cycles.

Well now, aint that sumthin'! Advance apologies, may have to limit time spent on the list of ships with China port calls heading into Los Angeles/Long Beach and Seattle. Looks like San Juan just made the Watch List and a lot more attention may need paid to Miami, Tampa, Port Everglades, Port Canaveral, and Fort Lauderdale. Will run scans on San Juan before adding Jacksonville and Savannah. Dear USN Western Hemisphere Group, might want to get the small boys at Mayport ready for some patrolling to help the Coasties and if you'd be nice to an old Navy veteran I could use some caffeine injections on stand by.
