CBC News exhibit 2: 60 cases in Ontario!
So 60 cases in a province of nearly 15 million people, and one of those cases just happens to be the Prime Minister's wife?
How interesting.
All public schools in Ontario closed for next 3 weeks. (pre-scheduled March Break next week, then Coronavirus 2-week extension after that.)
My guess was that it was a localized outage in one store, maybe even unrelated, and someone posted vid that went viral and caused people to think "gee I'd better get a few extra packs"… bingo! self-fulfilling prophecy.
Plausible.
And it's a bulky (yet lightweight) item, so the disappearance of several packages quickly gives the impression of armageddon-style empty shelves.
