In Asia due to the virus, their toilet paper production was stopped in order to create face masks. There became a shortage of toilet paper. Hence, everyone is now rushing to get tp just in case.
Not that I've seen. Also, that would be a deterrent. You wouldn't buy tp if it might be contagious.
