If only it was that simple, anon.

Why is symbolism necessary for 'them?'

Why not choose a rhombus or a pear?

For example, what is a red pill? You think it came from the Matrix? From Through the Looking Glass?

What is a bad apple?

  • Why would some think an apple sinful?

What is a pomegranate?

You'll find that there are those who understand symbolism…

And those who simply cover themselves in a desperate bid to legitimize their behavior.

Anon, you should understand that under the current market, the customer that a corporation competes for is not the captive consumer. It is the share holder/investor. When stock values go up, share holders approve of who is in charge. The whole thing about making a product or service for a customer is water under the bridge.

Within this model, any insane act which improves stock value, even for the short term, is justified - whether it results in a competitive product/service, or not.

The idea you were living in a free market is a delusion. You are living in a fully incorporated fascist economy with non-essential businesses allowed to pretend they are part of a free market - but are really just fighting over exhaust gasses from the currency turbine of the government-industrial complex.

We were already in a communist economy disguised by the illusion of choice and the nomenclature assigned.
