What we're looking at, potentially, is Trump giving the drugs, the Quinine drug HCQ and/or CQ + the Z Pack, and the states not using them?

Or we could be talking about the drugs not working?

He's talking about how this is a real, huge, potential game changer here. He's saying all these masks and ventilators etc are all bull shit if this cheap old, powerful, malaria drug that also seems to be a broad spectrum antiviral, will just save the day.

We're the victim of GOVERNMENT SHUTTING THINGS DOWN, not fear. Nobody is telling the government to shut things down. Cancelling all the tours, closing bars and restaurants, everything over 50 people, it's the government who is doing those things.

If we see that these quinine drugs with the Z pack do work, we can say "well, we have a cure, so if you get it, it's not all that bad, so back to normal."

Apparently New York State will certainly have enough of the Quinine HCQ + AZ for everyone, there will be enough coordinated treatment to make something like a trial, in France, it took 6 days, and maybe we'll have an answer next Monday, 8 days from now. Maybe. I would hope that there would be good reports of cures over the weekend. Some take fewer than 6 days to become virus free.

he's saying "the cure" means the shutting down of everything

he's saying "the problem itself" means the virus.

"which way we want to go" means whether we'll open up for business, and just live with the fact that there is a virus.

I would expect that the decision about whether to open back up would be informed by 1) whether the Q drugs + Zpack work.

I don't know what day the end of the 15 day period is, but there should be results by next Monday. If Hydroxychloroquine + Azithromycin

works in New York close to how it worked in France, we're on to go back to normal.

All the worse case scenarios, which the stay at home plans were designed to prevent, become unnecessary, because those worse case scenarios didn't have a cheap safe cure in them. If the Quinine drug works, no major crisis.

The French study indicated that the Q drug can also PREVENT the cov. They didn't state exactly the dosages involved and the procedures, but they did say "coming soon".

the problem is the virus.

If the choloroquine works, we'll know if the cure is worse than the problem, because its not a big problem if the choloquine or the hydroxycholorquine works, with or without Azithromycin.
