It's not clear to me that regular old quinine will work to prevent CoV in the same way as HCQ and CQ will. HCQ and CQ raise the endosomal pH, makes it more alkaline. It's not clear that regular quinine does that.
I'm drinking tonic water, though, it seems like it gets closest to HCQ and CQ of all the supermarket things. Bitter Lemon is good too. Tonic Water + Lemon.
