WRONG.

The prescription chloroquine DOES WORK. Its not the same as the aquarium cleaner.

Look, they sent both hydroxycholoroquine and chloroquine to NY. They both work. It's said that the hydroxy is a little better, because they can give more of the hydroxy before side effects start showing up. They very similar, the hydroxy is a little bit newer (both are very old) and a little bit safer.

You can read on pubmed 15 year old studies showing the effectiveness of these Q drugs on SARS. This CoV is just a new type of SARS.

Where was the FDA in the last 15 years?

What we should know is that it's the job of the FDA to fight hard against anything that did not spend 10s or 100s of Millions $$$ on testing and lengthy human trials.

If someone is natural, and works perfectly, the FDA will SHUT IT DOWN, because there are no tests.

If you can't make enough money to recoup 10s or 100s of Millions, you aren't spending that money on testing. If it's not something that you can patent, everyone can sell that natural product, and they didn't have to spend money on tests.

Over and over you see on Pubmed, natural products (or generic drugs like HCQ and CQ) with great results, and the FDA will not allow those things to be advertised for what they can do, unless there are 10+ Millions spend on testing.

Our laws are shit in the USA.

Either 1) Fed Gov spends the money on testing. or 2) there's a new category - "might work" things that are generally recognized as safe, and things that seem to provide benefits. And there could be some sort of "might work" logo, so that things that are safe and show benefits like "mice with tumors given baking soda live 2x as long as the no baking soda mice" can put "cures cancer maybe" on the box.

Basically what Trump is doing is saying "fuck the FDA" and Trump is right.

FDA approval doesn't make anything more effective. The effectiveness is either there or it is not there, inherent in the thing itself, not reliant at all on the FDA.

There are a shit ton of different quines that are used as anti malarials.

Hey here's something, the Federal Government sent a whole lot of Chloroquine to New York just recently, last week. Also sent a lesser amount of Hydroxychloroquine. Probably there was a greater supply of Chloroquine.

Let's find the link to that, so that I can be proven right.

https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/coronavirus/new-york-starts-new-experimental-drug-therapies-to-treat-covid-19-heres-what-we-know/2341931/

HYDROXYCLOROQUINE AND CHLOROQUINE

Hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine are oral prescription drugs that have been used for treatment of malaria and certain inflammatory conditions like lupus. According to the CDC, chloroquine has been used for malaria treatment and chemoprophylaxis, meanwhile hydroxychloroquine is also used for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus and porphyria cutanea tarda.

Both drugs have in-vitro activity against SARS-CoV, SARS-CoV-2, and other coronaviruses, with hydroxychloroquine having relatively higher potency against SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that produces COVID-19 disease), according to the CDC. Chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine are currently recommended for the treatment of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in several countries.

Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine: what to know about the potential coronavirus drugs

New York moved to begin trials Tuesday, procuring 70,000 doses of hydroxychloroquine and 750,000 doses of chloroquine, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said. In addition, Bayer, the drug maker, has donated 3 million doses of Resochin, its brand name for chloroquine, to the federal government.

2004 - Chloroquine found effective against SARS

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15351731

In vitro inhibition of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus by chloroquine.

"Chloroquine, an old antimalarial drug, may be considered for immediate use in the prevention and treatment of SARS-CoV infections."

15 years ago. IMMEDIATE USE. PREVENTION. TREATMENT. SARS.

But, OLD DRUG.

So we're fucked. The FDA is going to say, FUCK YOU AMERICANS. No one can afford to do the tests we require on a drug that anyone can make. So we're going to stand in the way, trying to make sure that you can't get that.

Fed Gov needs to do these tests themselves or allow a middle course "safe and promising treatment" But not proven treatment.

Baking Soda May Help Fight Colds And The Flu

Some people believe that when taken internally, baking soda can help maintain the pH balance in your bloodstream.

This is likely the basic premise behind its recommended uses against both colds and influenza symptoms. In their booklet “Arm & Hammer Baking Soda Medical Uses,” published in 1924, Dr. Volney S. Cheney recounts his clinical successes with sodium bicarbonate in treating cold and flu:

“In 1918 and 1919 while fighting the ‘flu’ with the U. S. Public Health Service it was brought to my attention that rarely anyone who had been thoroughly alkalinized with bicarbonate of soda contracted the disease, and those who did contract it, if alkalinized early, would invariably have mild attacks.

I have since that time treated all cases of ‘cold,’ influenza and LaGripe by first giving generous doses of bicarbonate of soda, and in many, many instances within 36 hours the symptoms would have entirely abated.

Further, within my own household, before Woman’s Clubs and Parent-Teachers’ Associations, I have advocated the use of bicarbonate of soda as a preventive for ‘colds,’ with the result that now many reports are coming in stating that those who took ‘soda’ were not affected, while nearly everyone around them had the ‘flu.’

This coronavirus is a new version of SARS.

What is happening, somewhere on the planet, is that people who have this COV19 and something else, and who maybe die, are said to have died from the COV19.

I don't remember a time when pubmed wasn't free. Ive been using pubmed for years.

a google search of pubmed chloroquine antiviral gives a lot of results.

pubmed antiviral and vinegar gives a lot of results.

These things could work great, but the FDA will fight against them. Not enough testing, maybe the Fed Gov can do the testing and these cheap and effective things could be known to the people.

I'm seeing Chloroquine Phosphate as a drug.

It's apparently an aquarium cleaner.

And we know that you have to get the dosages right with these Q drugs.

What we're probably looking at are overdoses of something that works at most smaller doses.

if it's the same stuff - both the same form of Chloroquine Phosphate, there's a whole lot more of that stuff in the aquarium cleaner.

It's quite possible that professionals could take that aquarium cleaner and make a bunch of pills out of it. I dunno.
