Satellite wireless is the goal because it will be available to all areas of the globe. Economically poor areas will have access to more education opportunities.
Also, it's the only way at this point to remove the big tech choke hold on information. Lesser of two evils, though, if theory holds.

There are, for example, the Blue Laws in MA, which, among other things (stores closed), required that men take guns to church. Parts of them have been repealed, though. I think.

What I heard was complete satellite wireless, no hard wire, no latency. Satellites will form a mesh.
