A short dig on Elmhurst Hospital in NY. USA spending.gov database shows that Elmhurst also provides care to torture victims in the Libertas Center for Human Rights. Libertas has rec'd just over $2 Million dollars in grants for all FYs. The Libertas Center is a project of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Queens. The original grants to Libertas came through the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation which has an all FYs fed. government contract total of ~$15 Million dollars. In other news, there is such a thing as the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation.
