Real coyotes are sneaky, but very smart, like evil genius smart…they literally operate in cooperation with one another. One coyote will run thru a yard or field to entice a domestic dog to chase them. While the dog is focused on the coyote he is chasing, the other 2 or 3 will come in behind him and take him out from the back. I've seen them do it. Or they will call to the domestic dog and get them to come into the woods, then the others will attack. They also will find baby fawns, in the spring, laid up in the woods and eat their head and leave the rest. They are omnivores and will eat anything. They are also very daring and will come right up to your door if you have any kind of animal they want to eat. They are mostly nocturnal, but will come out in the day and eat your animals. Coyote is not an admired animal. Name suits the human coyotes.
