The other part of this, and in the same vein, I think, is that Covid patients, financed through government reimbursement, couldn't be billed as much as non-Covid patients who are on private health insurance. Referencing, here, the discussion about the hospital ships taking on the non-Covid burden.
Basically, as much as it sucks to have to say this, the ships are taking on the high paying customers, from the hospitals POV. Is that what all the bitching is about? Hope I'm wrong.
