At Least 19 Killed in Clashes Between Armed Groups in Mexico

A joint operation of the Public Security Secretariat and the Mexican army has been launched to find the whereabouts of the armed groups involved in the clashes.

At least 19 people have been killed in clashes between armed groups in Madera, the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, the state Prosecutor's Office said on Saturday.

"The operation was immediately deployed when a report was received Friday at approximately 6:35 p.m., regarding a possible confrontation between rival groups linked to organised crime, in an area that leads from Las Varas to Largo Maderal", the General State Prosecutor's Office (FGE) of Chihuahua said in a statement.

The police forces who arrived at the scene located the bodies of 18 civilians, 18 long weapons, two vehicles and two grenades that were seized. Two injured men were also found by the police and taken to hospital, but one of them died, bringing the death toll in the incident to 19. The other man remains in custody.

Raids of this type are not rare in Mexico, where violent armed groups are a sad reality.

Tucker Carlson On Fauci's Quarantine Call: Pushing "National Suicide" While He Has Job Security

Tucker Carlson on Friday night blasted Dr. Anthony Fauci for his lately publicly urging the Trump administration to declare a federally-imposed 'stay at home' order across all 50 states, while also underscoring the FOX host still considers the White House coronavirus task force member and nation's top infectious disease expert to be an “impressive person”.

“We’ve interviewed Dr. Fauci respectfully on this program, and we’d gladly do that again if he came back, and he will come back. He’s an impressive person. But that does not mean that he’s never wrong,” Carlson said. “On the question of this pandemic, Fauci has been wrong repeatedly.”

Carlson expressed he's particularly bothered by Fauci’s recommendation of a national quarantine given that economic devastation would be pretty much assured. The night prior Dr. Fauci told CNN's Anderson Cooper during a coronavirus town hall: "I don't understand why that's not happening." He said further, "You know, the tension between federally mandated versus states' rights to do what they want is something I don't want to get into," and added, "But if you look at what's going on in this country, I just don't understand why we're not doing that."

Carson slammed Fauci's “extreme measures” as tantamount to "national suicide":

“More than 10 million Americans have already lost their jobs. Imagine another year of this. That would be national suicide, and yet, that is what Anthony Fauci is suggesting, at least. Now, we’re not suggesting that Fauci wants to hurt America. We don’t think he does, he seems like a very decent man. But Fauci is not an economist or for that matter someone who fears being unemployed himself. Like most of the people around him. This is not an attack, this is just an observation. Fauci has bulletproof job security. He’s not thinking that way. He has the luxury of looking at the world through the narrow lens of his profession. He doesn’t seem to think much outside that lens.”

Carlson aired the clip of Fauci saying, “I know it’s difficult, but we’re having a lot of suffering, a lot of death. This is inconvenient from an economic and a personal standpoint, but we just have to do it.”

Bill Gates-Funded IHME Coronavirus Model Wrong Again - 12,000 ICU Beds Projected For New York Today, Only 4,100 Used

Dr. Birx decided to throw away several proposed models for the Coronavirus outbreak and went all-in on a single model funded by Bill Gates.

As TGP reported Thursday, the IHME (Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation) model for the Coronavirus the White House is relying on is complete garbage.

The US economy has been virtually shut down, unemployment spiked and small businesses are on the verge of shuttering based on faulty projections.

Their projections for how many people in New York who would need hospital beds and ICU beds by today (April 4) is way off — not even close!

It is this garbage model funded by Bill Gates and pushed by Dr. Birx, who also sits on the board of a Bill Gates-funded foundation that is being used to close down schools, crash the stock market and destroy the economy.

A paddleboarder was arrested in Malibu, California, this week all because the state government used this IHME model when it issued an authoritarian social distancing order.

The IHME model also predicted that over 121,000 Americans would be hospitalized Wednesday over the Coronavirus.

The actual number? 31,142.

Dr. Birx is pushing a Bill Gates-funded model to scare the American public.

She also sits on the board of a Gates-funded foundation.

This potential conflict of interest demands answers.

President Trump informed Congress by letter Friday he is removing the inspector general for the intelligence community, Michael Atkinson, effective thirty days from today.

Trump said in the letter, “…it is vital that I have the fullest confidence in the appointees serving as Inspectors General. That is no longer the case with regard to this Inspector General.”

CIA snitch and Brennan protégé Eric Ciaramella filed a whistleblower complaint in August over a July 25 phone call President Trump had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky alleging Trump engaged in quid pro quo when he pressured Zelensky to investigate the Biden crime family.

Changes were made to the whistleblower form to include watercooler talk, gossip and second-hand information and ICIG Michael Atkinson defended the changes.

Atkinson admitted in a statement in October that the agency changed its own whistleblower rules because of the anti-Trump complaint from CIA snitch Eric Ciaramella.

To this day Speaker Pelosi and Adam Schiff still won’t release transcripts of Atkinson’s secret basement testimony that exonerated President Trump and indict the whistleblower of perjury!

Britain’s main opposition Labour party on Saturday said that Keir Starmer had been elected as its new leader, replacing Jeremy Corbyn who resigned after its crushing December election defeat.

The 57-year-old former chief state prosecutor won 56.2 percent of the vote of more than 500,000 Labour members, defeating Corbyn loyalist Rebecca Long-Bailey (27.6%) and backbencher Lisa Nandy (16.2%) for the top job. Angela Rayner becomes the new deputy leader.

“Congratulations to @Keir_Starmer, the new Leader of the Labour Party!” the party announced on Twitter after a three-month leadership campaign.

Starmer takes the helm of a defeated and divided party in the midst of the coronavirus crisis.

In his victory speech, Starmer acknowledged the party had “a mountain to climb” after four straight general election defeats. But he vowed: “We will climb it.”

He called it “the honor and privilege” of his life to be elected and vowed to “engage constructively” with Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s government, particularly in the fight-back against coronavirus.

Decentralized leadership raises questions about Trump coronavirus response

The rotating cast of officials appearing behind President Trump to detail the government’s response to the coronavirus are leading to new criticisms that they reflect a scattered approach from the White House that too often leaves states fending for themselves.

Top Trump administration officials say the appearances by a broad range of administration officials shows the “all of government” undertaken to combat the coronavirus.

But some current and former government officials see a disconnected strategy where it can be unclear who’s in charge of what or whether there is a coordinated long-term plan.

The shifting assignments and addition of officials with unclear responsibilities have contributed to the inefficient distribution of key supplies, those officials argue, which has been exacerbated by Trump’s insistence that the federal government merely play a supporting role for states.

“The approach that’s been taken at the White House with respect to critical inputs – protective gear, testing kits, ventilators, reagents, skilled personnel – there has never been a clear plan,” said Steve Morrison, director of Global Health Policy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

“And the alternative has been a very haphazard patchwork approach that has gone from overpromising and underdelivering multiple times and left the states on their own,” added Morrison, a former Clinton administration official.

In recent days, more than a dozen administration officials have appeared behind Trump at the daily briefings.

Attorney General William Barr rolled out new drug interdiction efforts; Defense Secretary Mark Esper spoke about the military pitching in while retaining combat readiness; Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin touched on economic relief for businesses; senior adviser Jared Kushner outlined partnerships with the private sector; and top trade adviser Peter Navarro elaborated on the use of the Defense Production Act.

A White House spokesman rejected criticism that the effort has been disconnected. He identified Vice President Pence as the person in charge of coordinating the entire response, and listed dozens of actions taken by the administration that include travel restrictions, disaster declarations for states and funding for businesses and families impacted by the virus.

"As both the President and Vice President have said, this is a locally executed, state managed, federally supported response to a global pandemic," deputy press secretary Judd Deere said in a statement. "Every level of government needs to deliver solutions and that is what we are doing in partnership. During these difficult times, Americans are receiving comfort, hope and resources from their President, as well as their local officials, because this is an all-of-America effort."

The White House has shifted responsibilities as it scrambled to get its arms around the magnitude of the pandemic, which Trump downplayed for January and most of February.

The White House created a coronavirus task force at the end of January, putting Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Alex Azar in charge.

President Donald Trump named a White House lawyer as inspector general for hundreds of billions of dollars approved by Congress for CCP virus relief, a selection opposed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

One of three oversight mechanisms established in the $2.2 trillion bill Trump signed last week after it passed Congress was a special inspector general to oversee $500 billion in funds that will be doled out by the Treasury Department to small businesses and corporations.

The White House announced on Friday that Trump selected Brian Miller, special assistant to the president and senior associate counsel in the White House Counsel’s office, to serve in the position.

LA Mayor Enlists Citizen 'Snitches' to Tattle on Neighbors Who Violate Stay-at-Home Order

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is encouraging citizens to turn in their neighbors who violate the city's "stay-at-home order. "Snitches get rewards," the mayor said this week.

Are kids expected to turn in their parents? Does anyone else think this is Hitlerian in concept, if not in execution?

“If any non-essential businesses continue to operate in violation of the stay at home order, we’re going to act to enforce the safer at home order and ensure their compliance,” Garcetti said, according to CBS Los Angeles.

The mayor’s office said that city officials, with officers from the Los Angeles Police Department, had visited more than 500 businesses that had not complied with his order. His office said four businesses have already been referred for misdemeanor filings.

“You know the old expression about snitches,” Garcetti said this week. “Well, in this case, snitches get rewards.”

He added: “We want to thank you for turning folks in and making sure we are all safe,” he said.

The suggestion will turn neighborhood busybodies into spies for the government. The city even has a website where you can report these lawbreakers, although there's no mention of a reward.

The city attorney has filed criminal charges against four businesses that are defying the closure order.

On Friday, Los Angeles prosecutors filed criminal charges against four stores that stayed open despite Mayor Eric Garcetti's executive "Safer at Home" order calling for the shutdown of all nonessential businesses. The charges mark the first known instance of a city prosecuting businesses that disregard orders to shutter amid the coronavirus epidemic.

The prosecuted businesses are Brother Shoes, Business Discount Electronics, the DTLA Smoke Shop and Hot Box Smoke Shop. In addition to these four shops, the city attorney's office says it's considering prosecuting 30 other businesses accused of operating against city orders.

An organization with the Orwellian-sounding name of "Business Ambassadors Program" is apparently going door-to-door making sure businesses are compliant. Otherwise, you can be charged criminally for threatening the safety of everybody – or something.

The program contacts and warns noncompliant businesses to cease operations under the penalty of possible legal charges. Noncompliant businesses face misdemeanor charges, other possible citations and utility shut-offs by the municipal Department of Water and Power.

"Nonessential businesses remaining open at this time jeopardize public health and safety," City Atty. Mike Feuer told the publication, "and my office is committed to vigorously enforcing the mayor's order."

Disney Executives Protest Pay Cuts as Company Set to Furlough Park Employees

Senior Disney executives are reportedly bashing plans to reduce their salaries between 20 and 30 percent amid the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, with no firm date as to when the cuts would end.

Sources who spoke with The Hollywood Reporter said that the cuts affect executives at the VP, Senior VP, and Executive VP level. The executives lament that the salary cuts were decided unilaterally, have no specified end date, and they were given just two days to sign the amended contract.

Disney VP’s typically earn between $150,000 and $200,000 in base pay, sources told the trade publication, while an executive VP’s salary can reach as high as $700,000 depending on their role. Some VP’s can also receive Disney stock.
