Theory is way more plausible than the current narrative. The amount of CV cases does not support the amount of equipment being called for. This actually popped into my head early last week as well.

Tom Dempsey dies after COVID-19 battle

Only four days ago came word that Tom Dempsey had recovered from COVID-19. The good news was short lived.

The former NFL kicker died late Saturday of complications from the coronavirus, the Times-Picayne reports. Dempsey was 73.

Dempsey had battled Alzheimer’s disease and dementia since 2012. He was one of several residents of a senior living facility in New Orleans to contract COVID-19, testing positive March 25.

At least 15 residents at the Lambeth House retirement home in Uptown New Orleans have died from the coronavirus, according to the Times-Picayune.

Dempsey becomes at least the second former NFL player to die after contracting COVID-19. Orlando McDaniel, who played three games for the Broncos in 1982, died last week. McDaniel was 59.

Dempsey, who was born without toes on his right foot and fingers on his right hand, signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent in 1969. He is best remembered for his record-setting 63-yard field goal in 1969.

The small flat shoe he kicked with is on display at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Although Dempsey played for the Eagles, Rams, Oilers and Bills after leaving the Saints, he retired to New Orleans.

There are several interesting code words and numbers in this article. "Koala"? 40,000 Ft is approx 7.5 miles.

Earth’s deepest artificial hole stretches 40,000 feet below the surface — and it’s only covered by a rusty metal lid.

Russia’s Kola Superdeep Borehole was created by the Soviets in the name of science so they could learn more about what’s really under our feet and dig to depths unknown.

The project to drill into the Earth’s surface began near Murmansk in the 1970s, when Soviet scientists wanted to learn more about the Earth’s crust.

Over two decades, they managed to dig more than 7.5 miles down into the Earth.

However, in 1992 they had to stop drilling because the temperature was around 180 degrees Celsius (356 Fahrenheit), which was far hotter than the scientists predicted it would.

Experts still need to figure out a way to overcome this temperature issue if they want to keep drilling and not destroy all of their equipment in the process.

All this drilling wasn’t for nothing though as some scientific discoveries were made.

The researchers found out that there is water at 12 kilometers (7.4 miles) into Earth’s crust, despite this previously being thought to be impossible.

They also found 24 new types of long-dead single-celled organisms and gained access to rocks that were 2.7 billion years old.

The Kola Superdeep Borehole is 23 centimeters (about 8.7 inches) in diameter and its metal lid is welded on so it is unlikely that anyone would ever fall down it.

Locals in the area say that the hole is so deep you can hear the screams of people being tortured in hell, hence its nickname being “the well to hell.”

If you fell down the hole, it would take around 3.5 to 4 minutes to reach the bottom.

Lots of countries wanted to be the first to drill into the Earth’s mantle during the Cold War and today Japan is attempting to set this record.
