Thailand cave rescue sparks celebration of 'mission impossible'

Standard protocol after being rescued from a cave?
>They will only see their relatives through a glass screen initially or from a two-metre distance with the parents wearing a medical gown, face mask and hair net.

Begs the questions why go there in the first place if such risks were involved?
Or would it purely be to do with the duration of their exposure?
