All the reported stats surrounding the Chinese Virus are bullshit. In order to know if we are actually flattening the curve, you have to common-size the numbers. The only way to do that is make them a ratio (percentage). As we all know, the more we test, the more cases that will be confirmed. But it’s the percentage of positive cases that matter.
If 3 weeks ago, we were only doing a 1000 tests per day and 200 came back positive, then we would have a 20% infection rate. If today we are doing 200,000 tests per day and 40,000 come back positive, then it’s still a 20% infection rate. To flatten the curve (if this Wuhan Flu is even fucking real), we need to look at the infection rate reported as a percentage.
Until they do that, I don’t believe a damn thing DS Fauci and DS Birx or any other incompetent health official says.
