Her uncle was a first responder for 9/11 and she is grateful to follow in his footsteps: “It’s been pretty awesome. This mission has been very humbling for me.” She is glad to be responding to Americans after spending so much time in South America. “We’re here for you. You don’t have to be afraid anymore.”
