Have worked for Microsoft, done useability testing for them as a grad student and used their earliest app very early:

 

Always noticed how BUGGY MS apps were. How they always release every product way too early. Never fix many bugs.

 

As a result, never trusted them, either as a user or an employee. They do not deserve it.

That is why it's not useful to discuss it.

Besides, it's old news.

I'm convinced that one shill tactic is to try to get discussions going about some of the more lurid aspects of our work and then turn around and mock us for being weirdos.

Best course imo: base our discussion primarily on evidence, not speculation. When it emerges, we can report on it.

Long campaigns require both rest and balance. If you find certain things upsetting, don't make them your main focus. Find something to work on that allows you to stay steady and focused. How can you contribute when "incensed" and focused on death rather than life?

What to discuss? Depends. Ask yourself why Q is bringing up something–as a reminder? as a cue to dig? because something is about to be revealed?

 

What is new–and what do we already know? Look at what is already in qresear.ch; summarize key points from the past but try to find out how they link to current events. This is especially true when it comes to very controversial topics like spirit cooking. Just my 2 cents worth.
