Baker, i would like to take out the Sorcha Faal notable. It's just not an okay source and i am not comfortable with including that to be passed along to wearethene.ws or anyone else. I think most oldfag anons would agree. Plz weigh in if you wish, anons.
Not at all sure Rusty is pulling any kind of shit at all and find this post very confusing. So I'm not going to try to sort it out.
Here's what i will say:
Have had many dealings with Rusty and they have all been fine. I don't really track Rainman but have been attacked by every shill on the board. And if Rusty is head of some kind of baker's union, then who is his crew? I know all the bakers and there is no crew for Rusty or anyone else to draw from.

Understood. But would still like to have the information. wearethene.ws relies on expected formats based on baker traditions and one of the things i would like to do is to see which baker traditions are flexible and which are less flexible (bc scrapper sites look for certain signifiers). It's not just about wearethene.ws, it could be any site.
I do recommend trying to avoid getting into conflicts over stuff like this, we have so many things to deal with. So easy to get enmeshed in problems that in the end are less important than the work we do. No disrespect intended, just my 2 cents.

This custom of not removing other bakers' notables did not change. I have never removed notables like this. But have also never seen so many questionable notables in one bread. RE CHANGES MADE TO LAST BREAD NOTABLE BUN
Twice bakers have recently seized the bakery from bakers who appeared to be unresponsive–once was a misunderstanding the other time was probably a shill.
That's not something we do much either. I've never done it. And it is doubtful that i will. But you never know. There are exceptions to any rule.
If you do not agree with the changes made, I invite you to say why the post is notable.
BUT ANOTHER OPTION IS THIS:
If three or more anons say "revert" the entire bun from last bread,
baker will revert it
because it's YOUR bread, anons, not mine.
(UNLESS even more than 3 want to keep revised version).
YOU ARE IN CONTROL NOW ANONS.

as a baker, i am torn between being a responsible arbiter of what goes in the notables and bowing to the custom of allowing anything in that has been put there by a previous baker.
ALWAYS before, i have respected that custom.
But if we are the news, what happens when unsauced or spurious material gets picked up by unfriendly sources?

My priority is to both respect the work of other bakers and to ensure that the information we put out is, at minimum, well-sauced or well-reasoned or both. What is the best solution when the two conflict (at least, in the baker's opinion)?
To be honest, I'm not that concerned with catching "bad" bakers. They will always out themselves over time; most leave after a while. Inexperienced bakers are a different situation, most would not mind changes made (at least, i would not, if in that position).
