I live in a small town in the middle of Germany. There is a Technical College here that has 100's of Chinese students. Big part of the economy for rents and retailers.

So, I said to myself, "Self, this place is going to get hurt because of the Chinese quarantining their cities, especially since there are Wuhan people here." (ties to college)

Welp, guess what, when the Chinese were (cough cough) quarantining residents in their homes, they were also letting them fly out to here. College was never shut down and kids never stopped coming. Regional paper even had a story asking WTF, with the official answers instantly pegging any bullshit meter on the market. I was waiting for the honchos to hold a PC in the college cafeteria to prove any point they were trying to make. Still waiting.

tl;dr From my perspective in my little corner of the world the Chinese were flying fuckers all over the place, quarantine or not. Don't need any media telling me otherwise.

We now know the Democrats used the self quarantine of several Republican Senators to fuck up the 1st relief bill by loading it with pork. Add Romney to that, because I think his, "Self quarantining out of an abundance of caution", was just a ploy to avoid going on the record with another vote against POTUS.

Very much a there there, IMO. Sicken enough Senators so they couldn't vote in the impeachment trial.
