This is horrible news! If the nations get their debts cancelled because of COVID, it provides them incentive to load up with debt again and have their scientists release even more illness instead of paying back the debt. Particularly countries that never really intend to pay back the debt anyway.
This may be a bad takeaway but I have lost faith in leadership at the highest levels of the world. UN, WTO, WHO, EU, etc.
