This is the industry standard accreditation set by official governing body – the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) – and is a validation required for any encryption utilized in any software solution deployed in the U.S. government.
Silent Circle has been awarded Certificate #2465 by NIST - achieved by Silent Phone after successfully testing with Silent Circle's Mobile Application Cryptographic module against the federally-mandated encryption standards on leading mobile platforms: Apple iOS and Android.
John Brennan required all Deep State Clowns (foreign, special operators, media, etc) to use / carry a Silent Circle SILENT PHONE for encrypted comms purposes.
