In December 2018, the House Oversight Subcommittee on Government Operations held a hearing on Capitol Hill on the Clinton Foundation.
Mark Meadows (R-NC), the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations, led the hearing. Two Clinton Foundation whistleblowers spoke at the hearing. Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch also testified.
Lawrence Doyle of DM Income Advisors and John Moynihan of JFM Associates testified before the congressional committee in December.
Witness John Moynihan and witness Lawrence Doyle accused the Clinton Foundation of using funding in the Clinton Health Initiative for trips and expenditures for personal use.
The witnesses told the committee they had to send their evidence to the Huber investigation THREE TIMES because the investigators kept losing it. The Huber investigative team only became interested in the evidence when they heard the two men were going before Congress.
We later found out in 2019 from Attorney General Bill Barr, who replaced Jeff Sessions, that John Huber had never even started his investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

MOSCOW, April 15. /TASS/. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov called The New York Times publication accusing Russia of disinformation campaign on US healthcare system "low grade."
"There will be no Moscow’s reaction," Peskov said. "We do not think such low grade publications deserve any kind of reaction."
He expressed regret that "such respectable editions publish more and more of such nonsense."

Chaos over $1,200 stimulus checks: IRS tracking system crashes, thousands complain they haven't got payment - but officials insist website is operating 'smoothly and effectively'
The Internal Revenue Service's online tool that helps Americans track their $1,200 stimulus checks has gone into meltdown just hours after it launched.
Frustrated users took to social media Wednesday to blast the highly-anticipated tracker, reporting that the site is crashing or telling them that it can't find their details.
More ludicrous still, payments have been sent to people who have been dead for two years, while thousands in need complain they haven't received the much-needed handout.
But the IRS bizarrely claimed that their website was 'operating smoothly and effectively' despite the complaints of taxpayers online.
The latest blow comes as Americans already face delays in getting the $1,200 government stimulus checks, after it emerged Tuesday that President Donald Trump has ordered that his name be printed on the checks, slowing their delivery by several days.
With nearly 17 million Americans filing for unemployment in the last three weeks and the jobless rate reaching its highest point since 1940, millions of households across the nation are desperately waiting to access the federal aid.
But while Americans on the breadline report their bank accounts still sitting empty, hundreds of people on social media have spoken out about checks being paid into dead relatives accounts.
'Deceased people are receiving stimulus checks today. My grandmother passed away in 2018 — and $1,200 was deposited in her bank account today,' one person posted on Twitter.
US Representative Thomas Massie posted a photo of a text from a friend which read: 'Dad got his stimulus check of $1200. He died in [redacted] 2018. Does he have to spend it online?'
In at least two cases in South Carolina, the IRS sent checks to people who died months ago.
Two separate bereaved relatives told Fits News that checks had arrived for their dead family members.
'My father-in-law died just before Christmas last year,' one person said, noting that the man's bank account had received the $1,200 boost from the government.
Meanwhile, one woman said a check had landed into her mother's account - who died around Thanksgiving.

Israel's little-known support for Haftar's war in Libya
With the help of the UAE, Israel is providing arms and training to the Libyan National Army
Despite pleas by the United Nations and international humanitarian organisations to suspend violence, at least temporarily during the coronavirus pandemic, the Libyan civil war continues as usual.
Following an attack last Monday, water supply was cut to more than two million people in Tripoli and nearby towns. Now fierce battles are raging to the west of the Libyan capital.
The conflict between the two major rival factions is fuelled by increased international intervention and a constant supply of weapons, in blatant violation of UN sanctions and an arms embargo.
On one side stands the Tripoli-based and UN-recognised Government of National Accord (GNA), led by the 60-year-old Fayez al-Sarraj, an architect by profession.
The GNA is supported mainly by Qatar and Turkey, which has turned into a major supplier of weapons and mercenaries to Sarraj’s forces.
Turkey has also sent drones to Libya - some of them home-grown based on old Israeli models, and some Israeli-made, which were sold to Azerbaijan, Turkey’s ally. Turkey is also recruiting hundreds of Syrian fighters to ship them to Libya as mercenaries to prop up the GNA.
On the other side are the forces of General Khalifa Haftar, who controls eastern Libya with its major port city of Benghazi. The 67-year-old is commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA).
Haftar, who has American citizenship, was known to be very close to the CIA during his exile under Muammar Gaddafi. No wonder, then that Haftar is supported by the administration of President Donald Trump, which outwardly supports international peace efforts but covertly encourages Haftar’s campaigns.
US allies in the Middle East follow suit. Among them stand out Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, and to a lesser degree Israel.
Arms and training
The Israeli connection is less well known but still very important. In fact, the role played by Haftar is a result of the axis created in recent years, consisting of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Israel.
This week, Al Araby television reported that the UAE financed and provided the LNA with advanced air defence systems, which were manufactured by an Israeli firm and transferred via Egypt. These systems are aimed at countering the Turkish drones.
The Libyan “file” is held by Mossad, which coordinates its operations and policies regarding Haftar with the Egyptian government of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and his intelligence chief Abbas Kamel.

The Virus of Occupation: Israelis Have Taken To Spitting on Palestinians During Coronavirus
Spitting at someone is a universal insult. In Israel, however, spitting at Palestinians is an entirely different story.
Now that we know that the deadly coronavirus can be transmitted through saliva droplets, Israeli soldiers and illegal Jewish settlers are working extra hard to spit at as many Palestinians, their cars, doorknobs, and so on, as possible.
If this sounds to you too surreal and repugnant, then you might not be as familiar with the particular breed of Israeli colonialism as you may think you are.
In all fairness, Israelis have been spitting at Palestinians well before the World Health Organization (WHO) lectured us on the elusive nature of the COVID-19 disease and on the critical need to apply ‘social distancing’.
Indeed, if you Google the phrase ‘Israeli spitting’, you will be inundated with many interesting search results, the like of “Jerusalem Judge to Jews: Don’t Spit On Christians“, “Christians in Jerusalem want Jews to Stop Spitting on Them“, and the more recent, “Israel Settlers Spitting on Palestinian Cars Raises Concern over Attempt to Spread Coronavirus”.
Interestingly, most of this coverage throughout the years has been carried out by Israel’s own media, while receiving little attention in Western mainstream media.
One could easily classify such degrading acts as yet another example of the Israelis’ false sense of superiority over Palestinians. But the deliberate attempt at infecting occupied Palestinians with the coronavirus is beneath contempt, even for a settler-colonial regime.
Two particular elements in this story require a pause.
First, that acts of spitting at Palestinians and their properties, by both occupation soldiers and settlers, have been widely reported in many parts of occupied Palestine.
This means that, within a matter of days, the Israeli army and settlers’ cultures so swiftly adapted their pre-existing racism to employ a deadly virus as the latest tool in subjugating and harming Palestinians, whether physically or symbolically.
Second, the degree of ignorance and buffoonery that accompany these racist and degrading acts.
The power paradigm that has governed the relationship between colonial Israel and colonized Palestinians has, thus far, followed a typical trajectory, where Israel’s bad deeds often go unpunished.
Those racist Israelis who are deliberately trying to infect Palestinians with the COVID-19 are not only criminal in their thinking and behavior, but utterly foolish as well.
When Israeli soldiers arrest or beat up Palestinian activists, they are as likely to contract the coronavirus as they are to transmit it.
But, of course, Israel is doing much more to complicate, if not entirely hinder, Palestinian efforts aimed at containing the spread of the coronavirus.
On March 23, a Palestinian worker, Malek Jayousi, was tossed out by Israeli authorities at the Beit Sira military checkpoint, near Ramallah, after he was suspected of having the coronavirus.
A video footage of the poor worker huddling near the checkpoint, after he was “dumped like trash”, has gone viral on social media.

US alerted Israel, NATO to disease outbreak in China in November — report
Israeli officials said to have debated threat five months ago, before public was aware of coronavirus, but ‘nothing was done’ by Health Ministry
US intelligence agencies alerted Israel to the coronavirus outbreak in China already in November, Israeli television reported Thursday.
According to Channel 12 news, the US intelligence community became aware of the emerging disease in Wuhan in the second week of that month and drew up a classified document.
Information on the disease outbreak was not in the public domain at that stage — and was known only apparently to the Chinese government.
US intelligence informed the Trump administration, “which did not deem it of interest,” but the report said the Americans also decided to update two allies with the classified document: NATO and Israel, specifically the IDF.
The network said Israeli military officials later in November discussed the possibility of the spread of the virus to the region and how it would affect Israel and neighboring countries.
The intelligence also reached Israel’s decision makers and the Health Ministry, where “nothing was done,” according to the report.
Last week, ABC News reported that US intelligence officials were warning about the coronavirus in a report prepared in December by the American military’s National Center for Medical Intelligence.
It was unclear if that was the same report that was said to have been shared with Israel.

BEIJING, April 16. /TASS/. Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation on Thursday evening, China Central Television reported.
During the phone talks, Xi Jinping pledged to continue to provide firm support and aid to Russia in its fight against the coronavirus spread. "China has already provided a shipment of [humanitarian] aid to Russia, it actively assists Russia in procurement of medical goods from People’s Republic. China will continue to provide firm support to Russia," he said, according to the Chinese TV.
China and Russia must jointly oppose the politicization of the coronavirus pandemic and "labelling," Xi Jinping stated. White House Says G7 States Want to Reform WHO, Collaborate on Reopening Economies Amid Pandemic
Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced plans to lift the lockdowns of certain American states in order to reopen their economies as the country continues to report over 20,000 new cases on a daily basis.
The White House has reported the results of a recent online conference of the G7 countries, saying that the other members – the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan – have called for conducting a "thorough review and reform" of the WHO in light of its response to the pandemic. The statement further said that most of the G7 leaders condemned the World Health Organisation (WHO) for its "lack of transparency and chronic mismanagement of the pandemic".
"The leaders recognized that the G7 nations annually contribute more than a billion dollars to the World Health Organization (WHO), and much of the conversation centered on the lack of transparency and chronic mismanagement of the pandemic by the WHO", the statement said.
The statement comes days after President Donald Trump decided to cut his country's funding of the global health body, with the US having contributed almost 15% to its budget annually. POTUS lambasted the WHO for its actions that failed to stop the disease from spreading across the world and for allegedly aiding China in its purported attempts to falsify data on the coronavirus. The move was condemned as poorly timed by numerous nations, including some of the G7 states - France and Germany.
On Reopening Economies
The White House statement mentioned that the G7 nations agreed to collaborate on reopening their economies following the massive lockdowns imposed due to the pandemic.
"G7 leaders tasked their ministers to work together to prepare all G7 economies to re-open safely and on a foundation that will allow the G7 nations to reestablish economic growth with more resilient health systems and trusted supply chains", the White House statement said.
The statement also said that G7 member states promised to remain committed to ensuring "a strong and coordinated global response to this health crisis and the associated humanitarian and economic calamity".
Previously, US President Donald Trump stated that Washington will be lifting the lockdowns in some states sooner than others, with national guidelines on reopening the economy expected to become public later today. The Washington Post reported earlier, citing leaked documents, that the government plans to reopen schools, churches, and summer camps in some states by 1 May.

C Penney Skips $12 Million Interest Payment To Evaluate Its ‘Strategic Alternatives’ During Coronavirus Pandemic
As JC Penney’s (JCP) stores remain dark because of the coronavirus pandemic, the department store retailer has made the decision to forego paying a $12 million interest payment as it considers its financial options.
The payment, which was due on Wednesday, has now entered into a 30-day grace period, which the company said in its Securities and Exchange Commission filing, would allow it “to evaluate certain strategic alternatives, none of which have been implemented at this time.”
If the $12 million payment is not made within 30 days, JC Penney will “default” on the note, the filing said.
JC Penney has reportedly been weighing filing for bankruptcy, hiring consulting firm AlixPartners LLP. While no final decision has been made by the retailer, the company has been in talks with its lenders to evaluate its financial options as its nearly $4 billion debt starts to come due.
JC Penney closed its stores until further notice and furloughed the majority of its employees because of the coronavirus in the midst of a turnaround strategy. The company had seen its sales drop, reporting losses of 8.1% in 2019.
“The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has created unprecedented challenges for department store retailers across the industry and has resulted in extensive store closings,” a spokeswoman told CNBC.
Shares of JC Penney stock were up 7.6526% as of 12:07 p.m. EDT on Thursday.
