Interesting: Researchers Reveal Clinton Foundation is Linked to the WHO, PEPFAR, the Gates Foundation and the Global Fund

 

In December 2018, the House Oversight Subcommittee on Government Operations held a hearing on Capitol Hill on the Clinton Foundation.

Mark Meadows (R-NC), the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations, led the hearing. Two Clinton Foundation whistleblowers spoke at the hearing. Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch also testified.

 

Lawrence Doyle of DM Income Advisors and John Moynihan of JFM Associates testified before the congressional committee in December.

Witness John Moynihan and witness Lawrence Doyle accused the Clinton Foundation of using funding in the Clinton Health Initiative for trips and expenditures for personal use.

The witnesses told the committee they had to send their evidence to the Huber investigation THREE TIMES because the investigators kept losing it. The Huber investigative team only became interested in the evidence when they heard the two men were going before Congress.

We later found out in 2019 from Attorney General Bill Barr, who replaced Jeff Sessions, that John Huber had never even started his investigation into the Clinton Foundation.

Scientology's war: the 1960s and 1970s

Tax evasion, money smuggling and inurement

At the time that the CSC lost its tax exemption, Scientology faced controversy in multiple countries around the English-speaking world. It had been banned in the Australian states of Victoria and South Australia following a scathing report by a public inquiry. It faced pressure from the media, politicians and mental health professionals which led to further inquiries in Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom.[26]

 

Hubbard determined at the end of 1966 that he would leave these problems behind by relocating Scientology's leadership, and himself, aboard a small fleet of ships that would travel around the Mediterranean and eastern Atlantic, out of reach of governments and the media. An elite group of the most committed Scientologists – the Sea Organization, or Sea Org – accompanied Hubbard, crewed the ships and received training in the most advanced levels of Scientology as they were being developed by Hubbard.[27] He resigned as President and Executive Director of the HASI, though this supposed relinquishment of management was a fiction; he continued to issue a stream of executive directives and policy instructions and managed Scientology from his ship via a worldwide telex network.[28]

 

Financial support for the Sea Org was initially provided by the Hubbard Explorational Company Ltd (HEC). Hubbard held ninety-seven of the hundred issued shares. In late 1966, the Church of Scientology of California began paying $15,000 per month to the HEC, and made a one-off payment of $125,000 to one of Hubbard's Swiss bank accounts. He also ordered every Scientology organization to set up an "LRH Good Will Repayment Account" at its local bank and instructed the CSC to buy Saint Hill Manor from him. By this time, Saint Hill was enormously lucrative, taking in up to £40,000 (equivalent to $110,000 at the time) a week.[29]

 

The UK-registered HEC was replaced after about 18 months by the Operation and Transport Corporation, Ltd. (OTC). This entity was incorporated in Panama – a well-known tax haven – in February 1968 by Hubbard, his wife and Leon Steinberg,[11] a Sea Org member who served as supercargo aboard one of Hubbard's ships.[30] Immediately after the trio incorporated OTC, they resigned and were replaced by three Sea Org members.[11] Hubbard, however, remained very much in control; he held ninety-eight of the 100 issued shares[31] and the US Court of Claims later found OTC to be a "sham corporation".[11]

 

The Sea Org had no separate corporate identity, so the activities of the Scientology fleet were carried on through a division of the Church called Flag (for "flagship"), based aboard Hubbard's flagship Apollo. Money was funnelled from the CSC to Flag, which usually relied on cash to pay its bills, with little regard for the law. When the United Kingdom introduced restrictions on currency exports in 1968, Scientologists travelling to join Flag were instructed to smuggle large amounts of cash with them. One Sea Org member, Mary Maren, later recalled: "They gave me about £3,000 in high-denomination notes to take out to the ship. I hid it in my boots." Leon Steinberg, one of OTC's three co-founders, became an adept forger; his creations were dubbed "Steinidocuments" by the Scientologists.[30]

 

Hubbard himself received huge sums. While ordinary Sea Org members were receiving $10 a week, Hubbard was being paid $15,000 a week (equivalent to $104,578 today) via the HEC and other Scientology entities. When one of his Swiss bank accounts had to be closed in 1970, $1 million in cash was transferred to the Apollo.[32] Mike Goldstein, who was appointed Banking Officer aboard the Apollo, recalled that there "were drawers full of money everywhere and more than a million dollars in the safe, but no proper accounts. We paid for everything in cash and were working with three different currencies – Spanish, Portuguese and Moroccan – and it seemed that if anyone wanted money for something they just asked for it."[33]

 

Goldstein's role as banking officer was supposed to be the responsibility of OTC, which purportedly delivered banking services to Flag. However, in reality OTC had no offices, officers or employees. Flag's funds were deposited in OTC's Swiss bank accounts, on all of which Hubbard was a signatory. In 1972, Hubbard had $2 million in cash transferred from OTC's accounts to the Apollo, where it was stored in a locked file cabinet to which only his wife Mary Sue had the keys.[11]

Another vehicle for inurement was the United States Churches of Scientology Trust, described by the US Court of Claims in 1984 as "a bogus trust controlled by key church officials" including Hubbard himself as, initially, the sole trustee. It was operational from at least 1970, though it was not put on a legal footing until 1973.[11] Three tax-exempt Scientology organizations in Michigan, Minnesota and New York joined the Washington and California churches in a June 1973 agreement to pay ten percent of their monthly incomes to the trust. Mary Sue Hubbard later replaced her husband as a lifetime trustee with the power to appoint two other trustees for two-year terms.[34] The trust's money was held in Swiss bank accounts for the ostensible purpose of the defense of Scientology, though the US Court of Claims found little evidence that the money was actually used for that purpose.[11]

 

In addition, Hubbard and his wife were paid directly by the church. The couple's salary payments rose from $20,000 in 1970 to over $115,000 by 1972, and the church also paid for their lodging, food, laundry and medical services. Scientology orgs tithed an additional ten percent of their income to Hubbard.[11]

 

The torrent of cash being funnneled to Hubbard had the ostensible justification of "debt repayments". In 1966, an LRH Finance Committee was established with the aim of determining how much the church supposedly owed him. He told the press that he had "forgiven" a $13 million debt. The Committee appraised the Saint Hill estate as having a "business goodwill" value of £2 million, though Hubbard had purchased it for less than £100,000, and included in the debt personal items of expenditure such as the purchase of a yacht in 1940 – twelve years before Scientology had been founded.[28]

Obstruction of the IRS and conspiracy to defraud

When the Church of Scientology of California lost its tax exemption, it reverted to the status of a regular taxpayer. The church, however, did not accept its new status. Despite being told that it now needed to file income tax return forms, it continued to file the less informative Annual Information Returns as if it were still a tax-exempt organization.[11] It also withheld payment of the taxes that it owed.[14]

 

The church adopted a range of obstructionist tactics to make it as difficult as possible for the IRS to carry out audits. Hubbard told Scientologists that he wanted to make the IRS "swim in circles". The church followed his lead by seeking to obstruct the IRS's efforts to audit the CSC's finances. The CSC's accountant, Martin Greenberg, told a meeting of Scientology officials in 1970 that he had purposefully made it difficult for the agency to audit the church. IRS agents were given at least two million documents jumbled up in a random order with the intention, according to Greenberg, of making the IRS's examiner so overwhelmed that he would give up and accept Scientology's version of the facts.[11]

 

When another Scientology church faced an audit in 1972, Greenberg advised staff to "give the IRS agent a bunch of records in a box in no semblance or order, to place the agent in a dark, small, out-or-the-way room, to refuse to give practical assistance like locating records, and to notify petitioner's Guardian Office immediately of the agent's presence." The scheme proved effective, and a two-year effort by the IRS to audit the church's finances between 1971 and 1973 ended in failure.[11]

 

The church occasionally resorted to outright forgery. It falsified its own financial records to conceal the role of OTC, including creating fake invoices purporting to show that OTC had provided the CSC with training and consultation services. Further falsification took place in the spring of 1975 when a project was undertaken to falsify financial records aboard the Apollo in anticipation of an IRS audit. This plan, which the US Court of Claims ruled was part of a conspiracy to defraud the United States, was put into effect after church officials grew concerned that the outflow of cash from the CSC to OTC would jeopardise the CSC's tax-exempt status.[11]

 

Hubbard also considered using a front group, the United Churches of Florida, to "preserve the assets of Scientology" in the event that the church lost its fight with the IRS. He wrote in a 1975 memorandum, "We must be…prepared…to go right on operating throughout the U.S. and work until we get a straitjacket on IRS. The ultimate objective of IRS is to knock out all Scientology organizations in the U.S. on the pretext of tax. Thus newly operating under new corporate status that does not connect [with Scientology] is the obvious last-ditch effort."[35]

While the church was fighting the IRS in the courts, it also mounted a sophisticated seven-year campaign of espionage against the agency and numerous other government and business organizations in the US, Canada, UK and other countries. Its methods included burglaries, electronic eavesdropping, infiltration and theft of government documents on a massive scale. The campaign was intended to bolster its effort to regain tax exemption, but ended disastrously for the church when it was exposed and led to the imprisonment of some of its most senior leaders, including Hubbard's wife Mary Sue.

 

The church's espionage campaign was run by the Guardian Office (GO), a department of the church established by Hubbard in 1966. It took over the mission of the church's short-lived Public Investigation Section to "help LRH [Hubbard] investigate public matters and individuals which seem to impede human liberty so that such matters may be exposed and to furnish intelligence required in guiding the progress of Scientology." He instructed its staff to target critics of Scientology and "start investigating them promptly for FELONIES or worse using own professionals, not outside agencies … Start feeding lurid, blood sex crime [sic] actual evidence on the attackers to the press."[36] He also ordered his followers to "bring the government and hostile philosophies or societies into a state of complete compliance with the goals of Scientology. This is done by high level ability to control, and in its absence, by low level ability to overwhelm. Introvert such agencies. Control such agencies."[37]

 

The GO was headed by Mary Sue Hubbard, the "Commodore Staff Guardian" (Hubbard was the "Commodore"), with Jane Kember carrying out day-to-day management as the Guardian World Wide. It employed Scientologist volunteers as agents to help it carry out intelligence operations against its targets. In April 1972 the GO developed a three-pronged strategy to target the IRS.[11] Several intelligence operations were instigated:

Operation Search and Destroy targeted organizations and individuals providing information to the IRS. The GO would use overt or covert means to obtain information which could be used to discredit them, while avoiding any disclosure of Scientology's involvement. The GO had already obtained information on IRS informants and sought to expand its coverage.

Operation Random Harvest sought to document criminal activity on the part of the IRS.

Operation Paris aimed to identify individual IRS officials working on Scientology tax matters and investigate their background and activities. A 'plant' would be recruited to develop social and political contacts with IRS personnel.[11]

Operation Juicy Clanger targeted tax records of prominent politicians and celebrities. Scientology operatives infiltrated the Los Angeles offices of the IRS and stole confidential files on California's governor Jerry Brown, Los Angeles' mayor Tom Bradley, the singer Frank Sinatra and the actress Doris Day, as well as attempting to steal John Wayne's tax records.[38] The church appears to have intended to blackmail the IRS;[39] the operation envisaged the church pretending that it had received the stolen tax records from a whistleblower and threatening to release them to create what the plans described as "an additional pressure on [the IRS] to finish the audit [of Scientology tax matters] favorably".[38]

A number of other espionage "projects" – subplans of wider operations against the IRS – were also developed:

 

Project Horn was a plan to covertly release stolen documents without revealing the thieves' identity. The records of other taxpayers would be stolen and released along with those of the Church of Scientology. A GO operative within the IRS was instructed to steal letterheaded stationery from the agency so that letters could be forged in the name of a non-existent whistleblower supposedly responsible for the leaks.[40] The operative did so and also stole tax records for Bob Jones University and the Unification Church.[41]

Project Beetle Cleanup called for the theft of "all DC IRS files on LRH, Scientology, etc., in the Intelligence section, OIO [Office of International Operations], and SSS [Special Services Staff]". It ordered the placement of agents in the "required areas or good access developed".[41]

Project Troy was aimed "to get prediction on future IRS actions" by planting a permanent bugging device in the office of the IRS Chief Counsel. Information acquired by eavesdropping would be used to brief the church's lawyers to mount defensive actions.[41]

In October 1974 the GO set out a plan – Guardian Order 1361 – to infiltrate IRS offices in Los Angeles, Washington and London, steal files on Scientology and Hubbard and develop a cover story to disguise how the information was obtained.[40] To address a situation that it summarized as the IRS "persisting in its attack upon the C of S and LRH … despite extensive legal and PR handling", it set out an "ideal scene" envisaging "[the] IRS with no false reports in their files on Scientology, uninterested in Scientology taxes, other than as a routine matter, doing their jobs and busy elsewhere with the usual red tape of a bureaucracy, with the psychotics located and their influence eliminated."[42] It called for the GO to "immediately get an agent into DC IRS to obtain files on LRH, Scientology, etc. in the Chief Council's [sic] office, the Special Services staff, the intelligence division, Audit Division, and any other areas."[41] The agent was to obtain "every single false report in every single IRS file. Scientology operatives broke into the room in the IRS's headquarters building where staff credentials were made and created fake credentials for other operatives to use.[43] The following month, the operatives infiltrated the office of the IRS's Chief Counsel and planted an electronic listening device to eavedrop on a meeting of senior IRS officials dealing with the church's tax affairs. They parked outside in the Smithsonian Institution's driveway and recorded the proceedings via their car's FM radio.[40]

 

The GO also used the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to manipulate the IRS into making it easier for Scientology agents to steal documents. FOIA requests were made to the IRS in the belief that it would result in all of its Scientology files being collated in one place so that IRS attorneys could review them. Scientology agents could then burgle the office where they were being held and obtain them. This plan was successful, and Scientology operatives reported that they had gained access to all of the documents held by the IRS's FOIA attorney.[11] By May 1975, the operatives had stolen more than 30,000 pages of documents, equivalent to a stack of paper ten feet (3.0 m) high, on Scientology and the Hubbards.[40]

 

A key objective of the GO's campaign was to uncover the individual who Hubbard believed was responsible for the IRS "attack" on Scientology. He told his followers that the IRS's interest in Scientology was due to "an insane individual with insane plans" who was operating a "false reports factory." He ordered the GO in June 1975 to "find the who back of these IRS attacks and document it for exposure plus all other items of interest. It could be IRS and the government is attacking any vocal group to pave the way for some coup by the government. Evidence as to the why of these attacks must be gotten, powerful enough to destroy the attackers when eventually used or revealed."[42]

 

By the mid-1970s the church's senior leadership had become increasingly concerned that Hubbard himself faced possible indictment for tax evasion. He wrote a secret minute to the Guardian Office on November 26, 1975 in which he told the GO: "WE COUNT ON YOU GUYS TO MOW THE IRS DOWN AND WIN ACROSS THE BOARDS".[44][45] A month later, the GO issued Guardian Program Order 158, "Early Warning System", ordering the establishment of a monitoring system "so that any situation concerning governments or courts by reason of suits is known in adequate time to take defensive actions to suddenly raise the level on LRH Personal Security very high". An agent was to be inserted into the IRS Office of International Operations, whose files on L. Ron and Mary Sue Hubbard and the Church of Scientology were to be obtained.[41] At the time, Hubbard was living in seclusion in La Quinta, California to avoid possible process servers and government agents.[46]

 

The GO initiated a new intelligence program against the IRS codenamed "Off The Hook" in June 1976, intended to get Scientology "off the hook, future threat nullified". It called for continued monitoring of IRS handling of Scientology tax exemption applications "on [Guardian Order] 1361 lines" – i.e. through the use of infiltration and theft of information – and ordered GO operatives to "ensure all attack preparation is completed and honed to razor sharp edge" in the event of any of the applications being denied. A program was also put in place to ensure "Founder's Protection from IRS Attack", requiring the "1361 Collection line" – the burglary team – to keep a close watch on the section of the IRS dealing with Hubbard's tax returns.[47][48]

IRS investigations of Scientology

The Church of Scientology has claimed that it was targeted under President Richard Nixon's "enemies list", which cataloged over 250 organizations and individuals that the Nixon administration targeted through federal agencies including the IRS. It has pointed to a list of organizations of concern drawn up by the IRS in 1969. However, a review by the Los Angeles Times in 1978 showed that while the IRS listed the church as an organization that "by their very nature can be expected to ignore or wilfully violate tax or firearm statutes," there was no mention of enemies or any suggestion of harassment or retaliation. It was in the context of a drive to consolidate overlapping investigations into groups that the IRS regarded as likely tax evaders.[52]

 

A number of investigations of Scientology were carried out by the IRS during the 1970s, notably from special intelligence units within the agency. In July 1969 the IRS established an Activist Organization Committee, later renamed the Special Service Staff (SSS), to investigate "dissident groups" for suspected breaches of tax laws. 99 organizations, including the Founding Church of Scientology, were targeted. The SSS was disbanded in 1973.[11]

 

Another IRS investigative body, the Intelligence Gathering and Retrieval Unit (IGRU), was established in 1973. This was responsible for gathering general intelligence unrelated to investigations of specific allegations. The information it gathered was thus very broad in scope, and often unrelated to the enforcement of tax laws. The CSC was designated a "tax resister"; papers relating to it were held in a file labeled "subversives", which contained materials only about Scientology. The IGRU was disbanded in 1975.[11]

 

IRS intelligence-gathering against Scientology was also managed in California through the state branch of the agency's Case Development Unit. Two special agents were responsible for gathering intelligence between 1968 and 1974 on CSC's operations and financial affairs.[11]

 

All three branches took an expansive view of their responsibilities in investigating Scientology. As well as filing reports on the organization's financial activities, they also collected information linking the CSC and other Scientology entities with criminal activities in various countries, including allegations of "homicide, blackmail, guerrilla training, break-ins, drug trafficking and the transportation of illegal firearms".[11]

 

The IRS considered imposing a 30 percent withholding tax on funds being transferred from the United States to overseas Scientology entities, but acknowledged in a March 1967 memo that this would have little effect on the main beneficiary of the transfers. It noted, "this would net little tax and not reach the real tax target – Hubbard."[52] In 1984, the Los Angeles office of the IRS launched a criminal investigation of Hubbard, prompted by defectors from Scientology alleging that he had skimmed off millions of dollars from church funds.[53] A letter was sent to Hubbard's representatives in September 1985 warning that he faced indictment for tax fraud.[54] David Miscavige and another senior church official, Pat Broeker, were also put under investigation.[55] An IRS official, Marcus Owens, said that thousands of agency staff were involved in the investigations. However, according to other federal officials, the Department of Justice was unwilling to spend money on a prolonged conflict with Scientology.[56] The investigation was called off after Hubbard died in January 1986, as it was regarded as moot by that point.[53] The church was informed by the IRS in November 1987 that no charges would be filed against it, Miscavige or Broeker.[57]

David Miscavige, the current leader of the Church of Scientology

The jailing of the GO's leadership led to radical changes within the Church of Scientology at the start of the 1980s, and in turn to significant changes in the church's strategy towards the IRS. The legal position of the Church and Hubbard himself – who stayed in hiding at a ranch outside Creston, California until his death in January 1986 – was still very precarious. To address this problem, he created an "All Clear Unit" (ACU), headed by David Miscavige, the then twenty-year-old head of the church's Commodore's Messenger Organization (CMO). Its purpose was to resolve all of the outstanding legal problems so that it would be safe for Hubbard to come out of hiding.[58] The ACU removed Mary Sue Hubbard from her post in 1981[59] and the GO itself was dissolved in 1983. Its functions were transferred to a new section, the Office of Special Affairs (OSA), under the effective control of Miscavige.[60]

 

One of the lines of activity that came out of the "All Clear" project was a push to resolve the dispute with the IRS. The stakes for the church were extremely high. According to Mark Rathbun, who worked with Miscavige as the church's Inspector-General, by the 1980s the IRS assessed the church's tax liability as upward of a billion dollars, at a time when Scientology's assets were only around $200 million. Paying that liability would have wiped out the church several times over. Beyond the purely financial issues, though, Miscavige and Rathbun believed that tax exemption would have significant political and legal advantages. As Rathbun notes, "If you have tax exemption you have religious recognition, you're treated differently in courts, there's almost some level of First Amendment immunity."[61]

 

Rathbun was tasked with mounting a campaign intended to overwhelm the IRS on multiple fronts.[61] This involved litigating on a massive scale, establishing front groups, applying political pressure, employing private investigators against individual IRS officials and ultimately reaching a negotiated agreement with the IRS. At the same time, the Church undertook internal changes intended to make it harder for the IRS to have visibility of its finances.

Chaos over $1,200 stimulus checks: IRS tracking system crashes, thousands complain they haven't got payment - but officials insist website is operating 'smoothly and effectively'

 

The Internal Revenue Service's online tool that helps Americans track their $1,200 stimulus checks has gone into meltdown just hours after it launched.

Frustrated users took to social media Wednesday to blast the highly-anticipated tracker, reporting that the site is crashing or telling them that it can't find their details.

More ludicrous still, payments have been sent to people who have been dead for two years, while thousands in need complain they haven't received the much-needed handout.

But the IRS bizarrely claimed that their website was 'operating smoothly and effectively' despite the complaints of taxpayers online.

The latest blow comes as Americans already face delays in getting the $1,200 government stimulus checks, after it emerged Tuesday that President Donald Trump has ordered that his name be printed on the checks, slowing their delivery by several days.

With nearly 17 million Americans filing for unemployment in the last three weeks and the jobless rate reaching its highest point since 1940, millions of households across the nation are desperately waiting to access the federal aid.

 

But while Americans on the breadline report their bank accounts still sitting empty, hundreds of people on social media have spoken out about checks being paid into dead relatives accounts.

'Deceased people are receiving stimulus checks today. My grandmother passed away in 2018 — and $1,200 was deposited in her bank account today,' one person posted on Twitter.

US Representative Thomas Massie posted a photo of a text from a friend which read: 'Dad got his stimulus check of $1200. He died in [redacted] 2018. Does he have to spend it online?'

In at least two cases in South Carolina, the IRS sent checks to people who died months ago.

Two separate bereaved relatives told Fits News that checks had arrived for their dead family members.

'My father-in-law died just before Christmas last year,' one person said, noting that the man's bank account had received the $1,200 boost from the government.

Meanwhile, one woman said a check had landed into her mother's account - who died around Thanksgiving.

He added that he knew the industry through his past work in business. “I’ve had many a concrete truck in New York delivering to my buildings.”

He pointed out that the Payroll Protection program had run out of money and needed to be replenished and said again that he hopes to work with Democrats on a $2 trillion infrastructure program that would please the truckers. “If we can get some Democrat support, you’re going to have nice roads again,” he said.

 

He noted that truck drivers were considered essential workers, then mused on his own designation. “I don’t know if they call me essential,” he said.

 

He looked ahead to the day when the economy would be running again. “Once we get going, the truckers are going to be working so hard you’re not going to be able to take a day of rest in between, maybe a couple of hours,” he said. He added, “I know plenty of truckers. They're great people.”

 

He praised Secretary Chao for doing an “incredible job” and gave her one of the keys as well.

 

As he departed, he ignored a question asking him to preview his reopening plan.

Ok, Anons. I remember this happening just before the Swine Flu outbreak. There was a podcast/radio interview of some lady that claimed that a trucker she was in contact with was telling her that he was getting paid 5K per load from New York to Tucson and that he and his family had to have these "shots".

Israel's little-known support for Haftar's war in Libya

 

With the help of the UAE, Israel is providing arms and training to the Libyan National Army

 

Despite pleas by the United Nations and international humanitarian organisations to suspend violence, at least temporarily during the coronavirus pandemic, the Libyan civil war continues as usual.

 

Following an attack last Monday, water supply was cut to more than two million people in Tripoli and nearby towns. Now fierce battles are raging to the west of the Libyan capital.

 

The conflict between the two major rival factions is fuelled by increased international intervention and a constant supply of weapons, in blatant violation of UN sanctions and an arms embargo.

 

On one side stands the Tripoli-based and UN-recognised Government of National Accord (GNA), led by the 60-year-old Fayez al-Sarraj, an architect by profession.

 

The GNA is supported mainly by Qatar and Turkey, which has turned into a major supplier of weapons and mercenaries to Sarraj’s forces.

 

Turkey has also sent drones to Libya - some of them home-grown based on old Israeli models, and some Israeli-made, which were sold to Azerbaijan, Turkey’s ally. Turkey is also recruiting hundreds of Syrian fighters to ship them to Libya as mercenaries to prop up the GNA.

 

On the other side are the forces of General Khalifa Haftar, who controls eastern Libya with its major port city of Benghazi. The 67-year-old is commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA).

 

Haftar, who has American citizenship, was known to be very close to the CIA during his exile under Muammar Gaddafi. No wonder, then that Haftar is supported by the administration of President Donald Trump, which outwardly supports international peace efforts but covertly encourages Haftar’s campaigns.

 

US allies in the Middle East follow suit. Among them stand out Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, and to a lesser degree Israel.

Arms and training

 

The Israeli connection is less well known but still very important. In fact, the role played by Haftar is a result of the axis created in recent years, consisting of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Israel.

 

This week, Al Araby television reported that the UAE financed and provided the LNA with advanced air defence systems, which were manufactured by an Israeli firm and transferred via Egypt. These systems are aimed at countering the Turkish drones.

 

The Libyan “file” is held by Mossad, which coordinates its operations and policies regarding Haftar with the Egyptian government of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and his intelligence chief Abbas Kamel.

The Virus of Occupation: Israelis Have Taken To Spitting on Palestinians During Coronavirus

 

Spitting at someone is a universal insult. In Israel, however, spitting at Palestinians is an entirely different story.

 

Now that we know that the deadly coronavirus can be transmitted through saliva droplets, Israeli soldiers and illegal Jewish settlers are working extra hard to spit at as many Palestinians, their cars, doorknobs, and so on, as possible.

 

If this sounds to you too surreal and repugnant, then you might not be as familiar with the particular breed of Israeli colonialism as you may think you are.

 

In all fairness, Israelis have been spitting at Palestinians well before the World Health Organization (WHO) lectured us on the elusive nature of the COVID-19 disease and on the critical need to apply ‘social distancing’.

 

Indeed, if you Google the phrase ‘Israeli spitting’, you will be inundated with many interesting search results, the like of “Jerusalem Judge to Jews: Don’t Spit On Christians“, “Christians in Jerusalem want Jews to Stop Spitting on Them“, and the more recent, “Israel Settlers Spitting on Palestinian Cars Raises Concern over Attempt to Spread Coronavirus”.

 

Interestingly, most of this coverage throughout the years has been carried out by Israel’s own media, while receiving little attention in Western mainstream media.

 

One could easily classify such degrading acts as yet another example of the Israelis’ false sense of superiority over Palestinians. But the deliberate attempt at infecting occupied Palestinians with the coronavirus is beneath contempt, even for a settler-colonial regime.

 

Two particular elements in this story require a pause.

 

First, that acts of spitting at Palestinians and their properties, by both occupation soldiers and settlers, have been widely reported in many parts of occupied Palestine.

 

This means that, within a matter of days, the Israeli army and settlers’ cultures so swiftly adapted their pre-existing racism to employ a deadly virus as the latest tool in subjugating and harming Palestinians, whether physically or symbolically.

 

Second, the degree of ignorance and buffoonery that accompany these racist and degrading acts.

 

The power paradigm that has governed the relationship between colonial Israel and colonized Palestinians has, thus far, followed a typical trajectory, where Israel’s bad deeds often go unpunished.

 

Those racist Israelis who are deliberately trying to infect Palestinians with the COVID-19 are not only criminal in their thinking and behavior, but utterly foolish as well.

 

When Israeli soldiers arrest or beat up Palestinian activists, they are as likely to contract the coronavirus as they are to transmit it.

 

But, of course, Israel is doing much more to complicate, if not entirely hinder, Palestinian efforts aimed at containing the spread of the coronavirus.

 

On March 23, a Palestinian worker, Malek Jayousi, was tossed out by Israeli authorities at the Beit Sira military checkpoint, near Ramallah, after he was suspected of having the coronavirus.

 

A video footage of the poor worker huddling near the checkpoint, after he was “dumped like trash”, has gone viral on social media.

The engraftment of bone marrow cells was monitored by recolonization of the spleen with hemopoietic cells from transplants of MHC class I-deficient bone marrow cells into lethally irradiated recipient mice. Transplant rejection was compared in two inbred strains of mice: 129, which apparently use perforin-dependent cytotoxicity, and C57BL/6, in which rejection can be perforin-independent. CHQ treatment reduced NK cell activity in 129 mice in which perforin is important for mediating rejection. CHQ affected the fraction of NK cell cytolysis that was Fas independent. In addition, we found that CHQ prevents perforin processing by LAK cells in vitro. These data indicate that CHQ may impair rejection of incompatible bone marrow transplants and other functions mediated by NK and cytotoxic T cells.

US intelligence agencies alerted Israel to the coronavirus outbreak in China already in November, Israeli television reported Thursday.

 

According to Channel 12 news, the US intelligence community became aware of the emerging disease in Wuhan in the second week of that month and drew up a classified document.

 

Information on the disease outbreak was not in the public domain at that stage — and was known only apparently to the Chinese government.

 

US intelligence informed the Trump administration, “which did not deem it of interest,” but the report said the Americans also decided to update two allies with the classified document: NATO and Israel, specifically the IDF.

 

The network said Israeli military officials later in November discussed the possibility of the spread of the virus to the region and how it would affect Israel and neighboring countries.

 

The intelligence also reached Israel’s decision makers and the Health Ministry, where “nothing was done,” according to the report.

 

Last week, ABC News reported that US intelligence officials were warning about the coronavirus in a report prepared in December by the American military’s National Center for Medical Intelligence.

 

It was unclear if that was the same report that was said to have been shared with Israel.

Several Twitter users reported child pornography accounts earlier this week. A user by the handle “0hour” was suspended, after working to expose thousands of pedophiles operating through the Twitter platform. After the pedophilia-exposing account was suspended, users began asking questions using hashtags #TwitterGate and #PizzaGate. The anonymous 0hour profile was previously in the news for attempting to bring pedophiles to justice by exposing their online antics back in 2011, and again in 2015 for exposing their inner child sex rings. Twitter users have been poking around for investigative information since WikiLeaks started revealing information about John Podesta, who was working as Clinton’s campaign chairman. People looking into the situation are finding a lot of loose links pointing to a potential pedophilia ring. Citizens are disturbed by the lack of attention being focused on the situation by the media; they also wonder why the FBI won’t investigate the matter. Just before 0hour was suspended, the account was posting various links to accounts allegedly involved with pedophilia, while also linking to the FBI and NSA to try and prompt an investigation.

 

Twitter users are going berserk over the suspension of 0hour, while no mentions by Twitter or the FBI exist regarding the information that was brought to light. This causes people to question Twitter’s motives, especially after the social media platform verified the Muslim Brotherhood account which has legitimate ties to terrorist organizations. Despite trending, #TwitterGate has been completely ignored by the media. Many are questioning why Twitter would ban a user exposing pedophiles, but verify an organization linked to terrorism.

 

With regard to the heavy collusion that was exposed between the mainstream media, the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign, people feel that basic human rights are being ignored by the mainstream media in an effort to protect the establishment. The reason why Twitter may be sleeping on this issue is because its CEO, Jack Dorsey, may be involved in the pedophilia underworld, which is inhabited by the rich, famous and powerful. Jack Dorsey has given a nod to spirit cooking, in a tweet, which has a disturbing significance in light of the larger Podesta ring. Dorsey’s strange affinity for the pedophilia underworld is part of a bigger context. In a 2015 documentary entitled An Open Secret, director Amy Berg exposes how pedophiles operate in Hollywood and how they cover up their crimes. Berg was also nominated for an Oscar for her 2006 documentary, Deliver Us from Evil, which revealed the way in which the Catholic Church covers up pedophilia. We shall see if any new developments arise, as victims should be coming forward soon.

Completely with you anon. My small business was closed. I pay taxes at the end of every year by sending a check to the IRS. They have not and will not be wiring stimulus to my bank account. I won't recieve a check for 2 months +. My state has refused to pay small business owners unemployment, even though the CARES ACT demands it. My bank wells fargo refused to process PPP loans and the other banks would not take my application because I was not a member prior to Feb. 15th. White House Says G7 States Want to Reform WHO, Collaborate on Reopening Economies Amid Pandemic

 

Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced plans to lift the lockdowns of certain American states in order to reopen their economies as the country continues to report over 20,000 new cases on a daily basis.

 

The White House has reported the results of a recent online conference of the G7 countries, saying that the other members – the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan – have called for conducting a "thorough review and reform" of the WHO in light of its response to the pandemic. The statement further said that most of the G7 leaders condemned the World Health Organisation (WHO) for its "lack of transparency and chronic mismanagement of the pandemic".

 

"The leaders recognized that the G7 nations annually contribute more than a billion dollars to the World Health Organization (WHO), and much of the conversation centered on the lack of transparency and chronic mismanagement of the pandemic by the WHO", the statement said.

 

The statement comes days after President Donald Trump decided to cut his country's funding of the global health body, with the US having contributed almost 15% to its budget annually. POTUS lambasted the WHO for its actions that failed to stop the disease from spreading across the world and for allegedly aiding China in its purported attempts to falsify data on the coronavirus. The move was condemned as poorly timed by numerous nations, including some of the G7 states - France and Germany.

On Reopening Economies

 

The White House statement mentioned that the G7 nations agreed to collaborate on reopening their economies following the massive lockdowns imposed due to the pandemic.

 

"G7 leaders tasked their ministers to work together to prepare all G7 economies to re-open safely and on a foundation that will allow the G7 nations to reestablish economic growth with more resilient health systems and trusted supply chains", the White House statement said.

 

The statement also said that G7 member states promised to remain committed to ensuring "a strong and coordinated global response to this health crisis and the associated humanitarian and economic calamity".

 

Previously, US President Donald Trump stated that Washington will be lifting the lockdowns in some states sooner than others, with national guidelines on reopening the economy expected to become public later today. C Penney Skips $12 Million Interest Payment To Evaluate Its ‘Strategic Alternatives’ During Coronavirus Pandemic

 

As JC Penney’s (JCP) stores remain dark because of the coronavirus pandemic, the department store retailer has made the decision to forego paying a $12 million interest payment as it considers its financial options.

 

The payment, which was due on Wednesday, has now entered into a 30-day grace period, which the company said in its Securities and Exchange Commission filing, would allow it “to evaluate certain strategic alternatives, none of which have been implemented at this time.”

 

If the $12 million payment is not made within 30 days, JC Penney will “default” on the note, the filing said.

 

JC Penney has reportedly been weighing filing for bankruptcy, hiring consulting firm AlixPartners LLP. While no final decision has been made by the retailer, the company has been in talks with its lenders to evaluate its financial options as its nearly $4 billion debt starts to come due.

 

JC Penney closed its stores until further notice and furloughed the majority of its employees because of the coronavirus in the midst of a turnaround strategy. The company had seen its sales drop, reporting losses of 8.1% in 2019.

 

“The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has created unprecedented challenges for department store retailers across the industry and has resulted in extensive store closings,” a spokeswoman told CNBC.

 

Shares of JC Penney stock were up 7.6526% as of 12:07 p.m. EDT on Thursday.

Abstract

Single-chain immunotoxins are ideal tools to selectively kill infectious agents. In applying this technology to block transmission of malaria parasites in the mosquito vector, we have constructed a single-chain immunotoxin composed of a single-chain antibody fragment (scFv) directed to Pbs2l on the surface of Plasmodium berghei ookinetes linked to a lytic peptide, Shiva-1. The single-chain immunotoxin was expressed in Escherichia coli, and the protein was purified by a Ni-NTA column. The single-chain immunotoxin was initially shown to exhibit greater killing properties for P. berghei ookinetes in vitro compared with the scFv or synthetic Shiva-1 peptide alone. In an attempt to block malaria transmission by genetically engineered bacteria, recombinant E. coli harboring the single-chain immunotoxin gene were introduced into the mosquito midgut by membrane feeding. The number of infected mosquitoes and their oocyst densities were significantly reduced when the mosquitoes were subsequently allowed to feed on P. berghei-infected mice. These results indicate not only that a single-chain immunotoxin with enhanced parasiticidal activity could form a basis for the development of more effective malaria therapeutic agents, but also that introduction of genetically engineered bacteria into anopheline mosquitoes may offer a practical approach to the regulation of malaria transmission.

This is very misleading. We own a family business and do not qualify for Trump Bucks. Our business requires a lot of operating capital. This makes us millionaires on paper but we would be hard pressed to come with that kind of cash. We will get some of these provisions and they offset some of our losses thanks to the CCP but it in now way is some huge financial boon but it will help us to stay open. We employ 30 people so it will help them in the long run also. They are still getting paid, we are not and are living off our personal savings and have borrowed money against our house to keep business open. We are taking a huge risk and these benefits are not enough to justify it.

The Talmud of Jmmanuel is rather interesting.

 

In 1963 a document (Talmud of Jmmanuel) in the form of scrolls encased in resin, was discovered buried under a flat rock in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea which was reportedly used by Jmmanuel (Jesus of Nazareth).

 

It was found by Eduard (Billy) Meier of Switzerland, shortly after a Lebanese priest named Isa Rashid discovered the actual burial site. The document is the authentic writings of Judas Iscariot, a disciple and contemporary of Jmmanuel.

 

Judas was a loyal follower and scribe and should not to be confused with the traitor Juda Ihariot, the son of a Pharisee. It was written in Old Aramaic and subsequently translated into German and English.

 

It is the only known record of the teachings and ministry of Jmmanuel prior to the time of the crucifixion.

 

This document has sustained considerable scholarly interest and study and has been found to be internally consistent with itself and the historical record. Much of the first four books of the New Testament came from it.

The World Health Organization is warning that drinking alcohol makes people more susceptible to the coronavirus, and is urging governments to uphold, or even strengthen, restrictions on buying booze.

 

In a statement this week, WHO’s Regional Office for Europe said that alcohol consumption “compromises the body’s immune system and increases the risk of adverse health outcomes. Therefore, people should minimize their alcohol consumption at any time, and particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

 

It also pointed out that excessive drinking can lead to a host of other harmful outcomes, including domestic violence, risk-taking behaviors and depression.

 

The health organization also stressed that alcohol definitely does not protect from COVID-19, calling the claim that high-strength alcohol can kill the virus “a dangerous myth."

 

“Alcohol is responsible for 3 million deaths a year worldwide,” WHO said. “Existing rules and regulations to protect health and reduce harm caused by alcohol, such as restricting access, should be upheld and even reinforced during the COVID-19 pandemic and emergency situations.”

 

“During the COVID-19 pandemic, we should really ask ourselves what risks we are taking in leaving people under lockdown in their homes with a substance that is harmful both in terms of their health and the effects of their behavior on others, including violence,” Carina Ferreira-Borges, WHO Europe’s program manager for alcohol and illicit drugs, said in a statement.

Historically informed performance in classical and baroque repertoires has used lower pitches than A440 Hz for decades. Classical repertoire (Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, etc.) is typically around A430 Hz, and Baroque repertoire (Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, etc.) around A415 Hz, using original instruments of the period or modern recreations of period forms.

 

You have only to compare, say, a Beethoven symphony at standard concert pitch (A440 Hz) with one at A430 to “feel” the difference, although you’ll not likely be able to do this with the same orchestra, so other factors of variability will we unavoidable.

Sound and music consist of vibrations, the more vibrations per second, the higher the pitch. The unit for this is the Hertz, abbreviated Hz.

 

432 Hz is the natural "musical pitch" in the universe, as opposed to 440 Hz, which is the standard in the music nowadays in, for example, music albums and mp3 files.

 

This musical pitch is the standard pitch of the diapason, which is the musical note A above the middle C, scientifically named A4.

 

In 1939 Germany and England determined 440 Hz as the frequency of the musical pitch, after first recommendations in the 19th century. The United States did this already in 1936. Their effort to standardize this worldwide didn't succeed for then. But in 1953 at a congres of musicians in London, 440 Hz still became the international ISO 16-standard. Many protests of (among others) French musicians, who wanted 432 Hz as the standard, didn't help unfortunately.

 

Most musical instruments are therefore adjusted at 440 Hz nowadays, that wasn't earlier always the fact. If you find musical instruments from ancient times (for example from the old Greeks and Egyptians), and nowadays in still distant areas on Earth, these instruments are mostly adjusted at 432 Hz.

 

What are the advantages of 432 Hz above 440 Hz?

 

  1. Research shows that music in 432 Hz, in according to the majority of the music lovers, is nicer for hearing, softer, brighter and more beautiful than music in 440 Hz. But you must have a good ear for music to hear this difference. Practically the difference is more clear with quiet and classical music than with hard, loud music.

 

  1. Because 432 Hz gives a greater clarity than 440 Hz, there's less need to play music in 432 Hz as loud as in 440 Hz. This means less hearing damage, as long as you put the volume not too high. It's known that, for example, 90 dB gives hearing damage after 8 hours. Further there's also less sound pressure with 432 Hz, what means that at a high volume (for example at concerts) it's possible that (more) hearing damage will be prevented. This has to be researched further scientifically.

 

  1. 432 Hz is more favourable for the chakras too. 440 Hz is working at the third eye chakra, "the thinking", while 432 Hz is working at the heart chakra, "the feeling". Many music lovers find the latter more pleasant, especially highly sensitive people. Listening to music in 432 Hz also accelerates the personal development of the music lover, although the tempo is for everyone different.

 

The committee 'Back to 432 Hz' wants, because of these reasons, a worldwide introduction of 432 Hz as the standard musical pitch, like it seems most in days gone by too.

 

The committee thinks it's important that at first so many people as possible get acquainted with the difference of 8 Hz. If many people know this and also believe the qualities of 432 Hz, it's to be hoped that the music industry will change the standard finally.
