"No negotiations, no attempt to accomodate": any false charge.

House Mgrs said admin never exerted "executive privilege". But that wasn't needed.

Why? Bc the subpoenas weren't authorized (no Full House vote). [Lists other problems]

In every other impeachment process, a Full House vote came first.

"Compulsory process" relies on that FH vote. 12:18 PST

House Dems skipped over that step completely; instead, there was just a presser from Pelosi announcing that Cmte would investigate.

Founding Fathers: were concerned about a partisan impeachment–that's why a full vote is req'd BEFORE investigation.

Thus: ALL the subsequent cmte subpoenas were invalid.

Next: due process argument

Nadler said he sent a letter to POTUS' counsel and they refused to participate.

But here is what actually happened.

Due process means the right to confront your accusers, call your own witnesses, have your own counsel.

These were denied.

They claimed POTUS would have due process in third round of hearings.

But what they offered was non-specific (as to what rights POTUS' team would have).

POTUS asked specific q's about fact witnesses, right to cross examine by POTUS lawyers, right to call witnesses.

Nadler didn't respond.

Dec 4: hearing with law professors

Dec 5: Pelosi announced conclusion of process–directed Nadler to draft Articles of Impeachment.

After end of day on Dec 5: no plans for other hearings.

POTUS was given a choice: whether to participate in a pre-determined process wo/plans to hear from fact witnesses or not.

Very fast process: 71 days (total = 78).

During 71 of 78, POTUS was "locked out." Why? Why no cross examination of witnesses allowed?

Because Dems didn't want the truth.

One last point: re whistleblower "who we haven't heard that much about, who started all of this."

We know from a letter from Inspector Gen'l of Intel Community sent, that he thought the whistleblower had political bias. We don't know what it was, bc he testified in House Cmtes in an Exec Session. Transcript still secret; not transmitted to the House Judiciary Cmte; we haven't seen it.

You would think they would want to find out something about the one making the complaint.

But they didn't want to know about political bias of the whistleblower.

First they wanted to hear "unfiltered" testimony of whistleblower; but they he said not necessary (coz transcript).

Schiff said they had not spoken to him–but in early Oct, was clear that they HAD spoken to him.

At that point, became critical to shut down any inquiry. 12:33 PST

So Schiff "ensured that there wasn't any inquiry."

And Schiff has been the same one talking in front of the Senate.

On Constitutional grounds, opposes impeachment of DJT.

Stand against the misapplication of the Constitution in impeachment proceedings.

High crimes and misdemeanors: this impeachment doesn't meet that standard.

Three issues to consider:

Does the evidence presented [shows]... that the "factual allegations occurred"?
If so, did they rise to the level of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress?
whether the two articles are Constitutionally criteria authorized for impeachment? 4:52 PST

He'll focus on 2 and 3.

The q today: not what [we think that] impeachment SHOULD be but what the Framers intended it to be.

For an offense to be a basis for impeachment, it must be "weighty."

Founders: would not have like vague terms like abuse of power or obstruction of Congress.

Impeachment: requires a crime and an acquittal or conviction (but not a conventional jury)

Quotes liberally from Judge Benjamin Curtis made re impeachment of Pres. Johnson.

We are not legally bound by such historical arguments but we should pay attn to them.

Constitution did not list all possible crimes/statutes; but did include common law crimes.

Criminal like conduct might be included. Example: bribery done outside the US (technically not a crime but criminal).

If such arguments are rejected, they should be rejected on the basis of reason/arguments, shouldn't just be responded to with name calling.

You can't impeach "just because." (cites Maxine Waters saying "Impeachment is what Congress says it is. There is no law [about impeachment].")

This places Congress above the law. The Framers rejected this view.

Constitution requires that critieria for impeachment must be enumerated and defined.

Originally, some of the Founders believed in possible impeachment of Pres; some did not.

Those who did searched for words to describe the kind of behavior that might be impeachable.

But broad terms aren't the same as specific criteria.

Example: should we regulate the content of social media?

Broad dangers of free speech--false info, inappropriate content, hate speech etc--must be balanced against other important policies [requires translation of broad ideas into specific criteria]

THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING.

What are high crimes and misdemeanors? Cites Blackstone, Hamilton, Madison

There must be a political element--one reason why Dershowitz was against Clinton impeachment.

Advocates a narrow construal of high crimes and misdemeanors.

Lists presidents who could be impeached using the criteria used to impeach Pres. Trump. Includes a lot of Presidents, include all the recent ones. Almost any controversial act could be called "abuse of power."

Presidents also include their own interests when making decisions; this is just what human beings do.

Talks about quid pro quo--not an impeachable offense on its face.

Bolton "revelations": even if true, NOT impeachable.

"Maladministration": rejected by the Founders (implicit rejection of abuse of power)

Was rejected bc it's too vague even tho it's in British impeachment law. Founders did NOT want a parliamentary impeachment process.

Words like "abuse of power" and "obstruction of Congress" are standard-less.

Someone has said that President could be impeached bc of his tweets or climate change policies. NO-Dersh disagrees.

When there's a choice between a vague or specific std, always choose the latter.

These value standards CLEARLY violate the Constitution.

Example: dishonesty. It's a sin but not a crime.

Directs his remarks to House mgrs, observing they failed to distinguish sins from crimes.

Founders set the standard HIGH, not low.

Many academics may disagree with D's interpretation but what matters is that they are met with a counter-argument, not just epithets.

What if the shoe were on the other foot? Same scenario, opposite parties?

Unpacking Laura Ingraham’s bombshell report on Eric Ciaramella, the Bidens, and Ken Vogel

A secret meeting at the White House. A NY Times story that never ran. A concern about Hunter Biden and Burisma. At the heart of it all is the alleged whistleblower, Eric Ciaramella.

There’s blowback that comes from invoking the name of the alleged Ukrainian whistleblower, Eric Ciaramella. Doing so will get you silenced by YouTube, banned by Facebook, fired from Fox News, or scolded by Adam Schiff. At NOQ Report, we believe the truth is the truth. Hiding it only diminishes discourse; in today’s contentious political atmosphere, discourse is the last thing that needs to be diminished.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham delivered a blockbuster segment that brought old conspiracy theories into the realm of verified facts surrounding the Obama White House, Hunter Biden, Burisma, Ukrainian officials, and a suppressed NY Times story. And at the center of it all is Ciaramella who is quickly proving to be much more than a guy who (allegedly) blew the whistle about Ukraine. It would seem he’s been involved since well before President Trump ever spoke to Ukrainian President Zelensky, which lends credence to my speculation that his complaint is as much (or more) about protecting himself as it is about protecting Joe Biden and taking down President Trump. Here’s the report by Ingraham followed by analysis:

Ingraham, like all Fox News employees, is forbidden from even saying Eric Ciaramella’s name. Her segment was still easy to follow, but here’s a breakdown with commentary about what was revealed, and we’ll even insert the appropriate name.

A White House meeting that Ciaramella may have had a hand in setting up on January 19, 2016, included Ukrainian prosecutors. They wanted to move forward with investigations into Burisma, the energy company that had Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, on their board. According to White House logs, Ciaramella signed in several who likely attended the meeting, including Jeffrey Cole, Anna Iemelianova, Nazar Kholodnitsky, Catherine Newcombe, Svitlana Pardus, David Sakvarelidze, Artem Sytnyk, Andriy Telizhenko, and Andris Razans.

NY Times reporter Ken Vogel, who has long-said there is more to the Burisma-Biden story than we’re being told, inquired with the Department of Justice regarding the meeting.

In the email, Vogel wrote, “We are going to report that [State Department official] Elizabeth Zentos attended a meeting at the White House on 1/19/2016 with Ukrainian prosecutors and embassy officials as well as … Eric Ciaramella from the NSC … the subjects discussed included efforts within the United State government to support prosecutions, in Ukraine and the United Kingdom, of Burisma Holdings, … and concerns that Hunter Biden’s position with the company could complicate such efforts.”

But the story never ran. Whatever Vogel had discovered, it either turned out to be nothing (unlikely since he started the email by stating, “We are going to report that…”) or it was quashed by the editors. The email was sent a week after Joe Biden had announced he was running for president. Vogel has not answered our request for comment thus far.

Democrats in the impeachment hearing are currently arguing that the reason former Ukraine Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was fired under pressure from then-VP Joe Biden is because he was not investigating Burisma and was therefore corrupt. But their argument is disingenuous as subsequent people who filled his role also declined to investigate Burisma. When we consider Ingraham’s report into the equation, two things become clear: The Democrats’ Burisma narrative is failing and Eric Ciaramella was deeply involved outside of being the whistleblower.

Whether Ciaramella is the whistleblower or not

(he is),

this new information makes it crystal clear that he needs to testify about the Ukraine coverup, whether as a fact-witness for the impeachment trial or by a Senate committee.

If there is a financial crash before the election, Trump will get the blame because he has taken credit for the stock market bubble, low interest rates and money printing (which require skyrocketing debt), even though he criticized all these as a candidate. In that event, I believe the only way Trump could still be re-elected is if the Dems are completely discredited by revelations of corruption and criminality as Q predicts.

However, Sanders is considered an outsider in his own party and so may not go down with the Dem ship.

Then we could really feel the Bern's brand of socialism if he ends up winning the White House.

But as discussed in the last bread, it appears that Q may have a window into the future (Project Looking Glass) and knows that things will somehow work out, and that America will never become a socialist country (POTUS). By POTUS declaring that, with such certainty, may be just what keeps us on a good timeline as the intent of his millions of supporters exponentially adds to his own.

It will be interesting to see how the Sanders probability diminishes as events unfold.

Trump Told Bolton to Help His Ukraine Pressure Campaign, Book Says

WASHINGTON — More than two months before he asked Ukraine’s president to investigate his political opponents, President Trump directed John R. Bolton, then his national security adviser, to help with his pressure campaign to extract damaging information on Democrats from Ukrainian officials, according to an unpublished manuscript by Mr. Bolton.

Mr. Trump gave the instruction, Mr. Bolton wrote, during an Oval Office conversation in early May that included the acting White House chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, the president’s personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani and the White House counsel, Pat A. Cipollone, who is now leading the president’s impeachment defense.

Mr. Trump told Mr. Bolton to call Volodymyr Zelensky, who had recently won election as president of Ukraine, to ensure Mr. Zelensky would meet with Mr. Giuliani, who was planning a trip to Ukraine to discuss the investigations that the president sought, in Mr. Bolton’s account. Mr. Bolton never made the call, he wrote.

The previously undisclosed directive that Mr. Bolton describes would be the earliest known instance of Mr. Trump seeking to harness the power of the United States government to advance his pressure campaign against Ukraine, as he later did on the July call with Mr. Zelensky that triggered a whistle-blower complaint and impeachment proceedings. House Democrats have accused him of abusing his authority and are arguing their case before senators in the impeachment trial of Mr. Trump, whose lawyers have said he did nothing wrong.

The account in Mr. Bolton’s manuscript portrays the most senior White House advisers as early witnesses in the effort that they have sought to distance the president from. And disclosure of the meeting underscores the kind of information Democrats were looking for in seeking testimony from his top advisers in their impeachment investigation, including Mr. Bolton and Mr. Mulvaney, only to be blocked by the White House.

Oligarchs own the airwaves in Ukraine. More than 75 percent of Ukrainians regularly watch TV channels owned by Ukrainian oligarchs Viktor Pinchuk, Ihor Kolomoisky, Dmytro Firtash, and Rinat Akhmetov. But this is hardly news since TV serves as the primary source of information for 58 percent of Ukrainians.

While these oligarchs are the biggest media owners, they are not the only ones. A disturbing trend is that most newly established media are also linked to politicians. Espreso.tv has been linked to former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk and Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, and the NewsOne TV channel is linked to MP Vadym Rabinovych (also an oligarch) and his business partner MP Yevhen Murayev. The media watchdog Reporters Without Borders notes that Channel 112 “often broadcast[s] pro-Russian interpretation of events” and many regard the station as connected to the funds of former President Viktor Yanukovych’s close entourage. However, the channel’s official ownership documents show no such links and the channel denies any relationship to any political party.

Yet the picture isn’t entirely hopeless. While oligarchs may dominate television, the numbers of viewers is declining and so is trust in television news. Oligarchs do not dominate ownership of top newspapers or online news, and trust in online news is on the rise. In fact, only two of the five top news websites are owned by oligarchs; the same figure is true for print outlets. Outside of television, there is real competition, and a growing number of people get their news online.....

In the past, Q has always hinted in definite terms such as "future proves past" and "nothing can stop what is coming". But for the first time, Q is using the word sometimes which indicates uncertainty, perhaps not in the ultimate outcome but in a particular path to get there.

If I was in Q's position, I would identify markers in both time directions and link them together to form a trajectory. Markers such as the US flag together with the words "In God We Trust". Then publish them so that they enter the consciousness of his followers.

The marker in the past would have to be placed based on a view of the future marker and the marker in the future would be placed based on a view of the past marker. But it would be necessary to be cryptic so that if the timeline doesn't get locked in, anons are not disillusioned and lose belief, which is vital for intent. Once the timeline is locked in, Q is at liberty to confirm it as a "Q Proof".

Now Q is letting us now that not all desired segments of the most desirable timeline get locked in. I suppose there are some dangling markers in old Q posts but we will never know. Maybe this is the real reason for Q's cryptic style, not "national security".

Last September, Amazon Prime released the TV series "Undone" with the premise:

I'm a little surprised that corporate media is contributing to The Great Awakening in this way. I take it as a good sign. I'm glad to see Kolomoyskyi's name featured in Glenn Beck's report. He has been a central figure in events in Ukraine for many years. Glenn and his team have done some great digging, but so far they seem to have overlooked a key motive for a proxy war with Russia.

Why would Kolomoyskyi create and fund his own battalion to fight against the Donbass republics? I saw a more sophisticated method used recently, where someone was posting substantive info but always with a youngish looking nude. One time there was just the nude and a message saying something like "this attractive girl would like you to go to post such-and-such for some interesting info." And the info was ok, but it was creepy. So i said i was curious why he always posted with young girls like that and he responded by calling my a hall moniter. These girls were probably 18 but they looked young. It was enough that another anon said of one 'model' that she reminded him of girls in Russian orphanages.

"A Clear and Present Danger": What Does it Means?

"Clear and Present Danger--Its Meaning and Significance" is an iconic law review article written in 1950 which gives excellent definitions of what both "clear" and "present" mean. It also warns against limiting Constitutional freedoms based on "future fears":

Clear danger

What is a "clear" danger? Although it "cannot be completely captured in a formula,"' it means at least that there must exist "reasonable ground to fear that serious evil will result." '

Present danger

When is there a "present" danger? The Court has answered synonymously: when the peril is "imminent," 2

"immediate, ) "impending," 14 c"urgent," '" or "not remote." 6 In Bridges v. California, Mr. Justice Black, speaking for the Court, emphasized that "the degree of imminence [must be] extremely high before utterances can be punished." Elsewhere he has indicated that the danger must be "pressingly imminent."

Future danger

if there is time for the rational democratic processes f thought and discussion, there is no present danger. As

so understood and applied, the clear and present danger test can make a significant contribution to the delimitation of constitutional freedoms.

Freedom cannot be abridged if it is only the fear of future evils that haunts the official.

Sorry anons, I messed up. After reconsidering the roundish-cornered building behind the red bus, I realized(never been to London) that the Gap/Barclay’s Bank building has had that quite visible electronic billboard on its facade for a long time. I went back to the drawing board and qresear.ch and found a Londonfag who said it might be near Leicester Square. I found the round-cornered building with wrought-iron window balconies.

It appears Gina and friend are looking and walking in the direction of Piccadilly Circus just up the street. The bus stop is at the corner of Coventry St. & Wardour St. See pics.

Eisen also served as the deputy counsel of Obama’s presidential transition team and ambassador to the Czech Republic. During President Donald Trump’s impeachment inquiry, Eisen, a longtime Trump critic, served as counsel to the House Judiciary Committee. In 2003 he co-founded the liberal nonprofit Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) with fellow Democratic operative Melanie Sloan and others. Eisen has contributed approximately $94,000 to Democratic candidates and committees through the years, according to records obtained by Judicial Watch.

A chunk of the TDWG’s attention has focused on three countries—Hungary, Poland, and Turkey—that it accuses of becoming increasingly authoritarian and undemocratic. While legitimate concerns exist involving the Tayyip Erdoğan regime in Turkey, the group’s criticisms of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Poland’s governing Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice) party largely focus on efforts to preserve their national identity, reduce the influence of foreign governments and nongovernmental organizations in their domestic affairs and limit third-world immigration. In November 2019 testimony before the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia, Energy, and the Environment, Corke claimed that, “Hungary is no longer a democracy, and Orbán is the architect of its transformation into an illiberal autocracy.”

Of particular interest to the TDWG have been Hungarian and Polish initiatives to combat the influence of Soros and his generously funded OSF. One of the policy statements posted on the TDWG’s website specifically deals with Orbán’s successful effort to expel Soros’ Central European University from Budapest. The statement, whose signatories include Corke, Eisen, and several former State Department officials, alleges that Hungary’s, “campaign against the CEU is a highly symbolic move against a vital institution founded to promote the transatlantic values of democracy, openness, and equality of opportunity.” In her November 2019 Congressional testimony, Corke claimed that Orbán, “relied on one tired trick in particular, one that served as a dog whistle for the far right; he used the spectral image of George Soros, using anti-Semitic tropes, as the ultimate bogeyman to stir up fear of migrants and other non-Christians.” Orbán counters that it has nothing to do with Soros’ religion or background. It’s about his politically driven activity aimed at undermining national governments that oppose his pro-migration agenda. The Hungarian prime minister assures a migration crisis in the Balkans was organized by the Soros network.

Soros’ OSF donated between $100,000 and $250,000 to the German Marshall Fund in 2019, records obtained by Judicial Watch show.
