They all went long with the ARAMCO share offer last year because they thought the games driving it up would continue.

Loaded up on wrong side and since getting out of these contracts, in size, is like turning an aircraft carrier around they got caught out on wrong side when VP did not renew the agreements with OPEC+.

Now you have Contango where the futures price of oil is higher than the spot price.

yes but the dollar has been farting around and not doing much. This is a planned destruction on the oil complex because of it's relationship to other currencies via the removal of the gold standard and introduction of the petro-dollar in th early 70's
