The elephant in the room for many is today's date, 4/20/20.

 

I understand we are in the middle of a revolution, a deep state takedown. The subject may not even deserve the time of day with everything else going on, but I want to talk about the subject: Marijuana.

 

Trump's only public stance on marijuana to date is that it is a state's rights issue. Over 20% of the states have legalized it recreationally. Over 65% have legalized it medicinally.

 

A substantial amount (as high at 2/3) of the population thinks marijuana should be legal recreationally. Even more (as high as 90%) think it should be available for medical purposes. Even if these are weighted polls, those are some substantial numbers.

 

Today, on 4/20, Trump should remove marijuana from schedule 1, truly putting it in the hands of the states. Where it currently sits, the federal government sees no difference between marijuana and other hard drugs such as heroin. It is even classified as a harder drug than cocaine. Makes no sense and it makes a mockery out of the scheduling.

 

Back around 2009-11, I was getting some of my first red pills. I saw how a hobby of mine, online poker, was essentially shutdown by the feds in a shady way. I was coming across many 9/11 documentaries that made me question things. I also came across the attached documentary about marijuana which made me completely rethink the subject.

 

Marijuana represented to me how the spread of information can change public opinion. It was an eye opening experience and I became intrigued to learn more, so I would research the topic to death. I like to think it was training for the research I would partake in many years later with the Las Vegas shooting, the Storm, and so much more.

 

I could write a book as to the reasons why it should be legal (recreationally & medicinally). Instead, I am going to refute the few arguments against marijuana that still remain:

 

  1. It is best to keep the product illegal, to protect the kids.

  2. Marijuana has been a drug used by America's youth for many years, pre-legalization. I do think that we should put safeguards in place to prevent it getting in kids hands, but this should not stop law-abiding citizens 21 and older from the use. There are studies that show both sides on this issue. One will say that marijuana use has gone up with teens, but is that true? Or is it that it has become not as taboo to admit it when asked? Other studies, where marijuana has been legal for an extended period of time show that teen use is actually dropping. This one, I think is more in line with the truth. The best way to keep it out of the hands of kids is to legalize it and regulate it, erase the black market. Have laws in place that prevent adults from buying it for kids - just like alcohol, and have stiff penalties for doing so.

 

  1. It increases the number of accidents due to marijuana.

  2. While there has been a slight, concerning increase in traffic accidents (in the neighborhood of a 3% rise) in the years following legalization in the associated states, there are actually FEWER fatal accidents. By the way, that 3% rise in accidents does seem to dip after a few years from the start of legalization. Some say more people are under the influence of marijuana in accidents. Yes, but testing is also more prevalent, and admitting to the use is much higher, and that can cause for misleading data. Even in all of the anti-marijuana studies, they admit that it is much better than the correlation of alcohol and traffic accidents/deaths.

  2. This is complete BS. If anything, removing the black market removes the main association. It is often the dealer pushing marijuana that deals in harder drugs. There is zero evidence to this theory. If anything, by keeping marijuana on Schedule 1, it diminishes the outlook on other drugs on the schedule. Because hey, marijuana isn't so bad. My government says it is equal to heroin, so maybe heroin isn't so bad? The scheduling does more harm than good.

 

  1. Marijuana today is much stronger than the weed from the 70s.

  2. This hypocritical argument may have some validity to it. It is true that marijuana today has much higher levels of THC. However, it doesn't work like alcohol. If you drink 4 beers, you get a certain level buzz. Do you drink the same amount of liquid if it was bourbon? No. Stronger marijuana just means it takes less to get to the level of high the user is looking to achieve. Besides, there is no such thing as overdosing from marijuana - unlike with alcohol.

 

  1. Marijuana, and drug use in general, is immoral.

  2. Another hypocritical argument. There are many drugs that serve a purpose. Every time you pop an advil, is that immoral? Does it temporarily change a person's state of mind? Yes, though it is different for everyone. If that is immoral, should we also ban meditation?

 

  1. Legalizing would not benefit society.

  2. Well, I think we can all agree that it would be a boom to the economy. But what about productivity? When I say we should legalize the use recreationally, it doesn't mean that people should be using it on the job - and employers should be able to fire anyone that does partake while on the clock. Marijuana can help people get off tobacco, marijuana, opioids, and much more. That seems pretty beneficial to me.

 

  1. Marijuana use makes you stupid.

  2. There are studies that show that long term use in children can effect brain development. However, after the user refrains from use for an extended period of time, the negative effects often disappear. Either way, this would just point to the fact that we should keep it out of the hands of kids' hands (point 1). There is no evidence that shows that it is damaging to the adult IQ. But I can see how someone may think that naively witnessing someone under the influence. If anything, it has actually been shown to increase brain activity (neurons and the cannabinoid system). Compare that to alcohol - which has been shown to kill brain cells.

 

Again, much of the problem surrounding marijuana is the perception created from reefer madness. If it was legalized, much of the taboo would dissipate. If you have a knee-jerk reaction to seeing people smoke a bowl and not a knee-jerk reaction to seeing people sling shots of vodka, then maybe you are under the mind control of an outdated, false campaign to keep it illegal.

 

Q+ should do what's right and remove it from schedule 1. Again, I can list countless reasons as to why, politically and apolitically. I just wanted to take the time to refute the common arguments against.

Latest National Guard COVID-19 update: Troop count at 36,750 — 11 percent jump since Friday

 

The number of Guard troops mobilized in the effort to cope with the coronavirus pandemic continues to increase.

 

There are more than 36,750 Air and Army National Guard professionals supporting the COVID-19 crisis response at the direction of their governors as of Wednesday afternoon. That’s an increase of about 3,750 from Friday.

 

In addition, 38 states, three territories and the District of Columbia have now been approved for use of federal funds for state missions under Title 32. That’s an increase of four states since Thursday.

 

As of Friday afternoon, 609 Guard troops had tested positive for COVID-19, according to the latest figures provided by the Pentagon. That was an increase of 36 from Thursday…

Deep State Barr Blocks Release Of 9/11 Documents Despite Promises To Victims' Families.

On Monday, U.S. Attorney General William Barr, acting director of national intelligence Richard Grenell, and other senior officials called on a federal judge to prevent the disclosure of files related to the role of the government of Saudi Arabia in the September 11 attacks. The officials told the judge in the civil case that the release of the files would endanger national security.

The files are being sought by families of the 9/11 victims who have spent the last two decades attempting to uncover the truth about the attacks. The families filed a lawsuit in federal district court in New York in 2017 as part of their effort to uncover the role of the Saudi government. What is publicly known is that the alleged 9/11 hijackers had a relationship with Saudi government officials. As Pro Public reported, at the 2019 White House September 11 memorial, U.S. President Donald Trump promised the families he would help them uncover the truth about 9/11.

Pro Publica notes that four statements from FBI and Justice Department officials were also under seal and can not be seen by the public. Another five statements from FBI, Justice Department, and CIA officials were only seen by the judge and could not even be shared with the families’ lawyers. Steven Pounian, a lawyer for the families also suggested that there must be some deep, dark secret that they’re still trying very hard to hide after almost 20 years, and that it might be a Saudi government secret

I think the 9/11 families have lost all hope that the president is going to step up and do the right thing.

 

Unfortunately, William Barr does not have a record of trustworthy actions. As far back as 1989 Barr discussed his belief that the FBI could legally abduct people in foreign countries without the consent of the foreign government. The opinion was revealed in a leaked legal memo authored by Barr while he was serving as the head of the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel (OLC). Barr chose to withhold the full memo and asked the public to trust his conclusion.

In the weeks after 9/11, when the U.S. government began to seize powers to roundup foreign citizens, spy on Americans, and torture anyone accused of terrorism, Newsweek noted that Barr had played a role in paving the way for such actions.

 

More recently, Barr has been involved in perpetuating the myth that encryption is a tool that only terrorists and dangerous criminals use and launching anorwellian pre-crime program. In October 2019, MintPress News reported that Barr had recently laid the groundwork for this new program.

 

Barr would go on to issue a memorandum to all U.S. attorneys, law enforcement agencies, and high level Justice Department officials calling for the implementation of a new “national disruption and early engagement program” aimed at detecting potential mass shooters before they commit any crime. This memo called for the DOJ and FBI to “refine our ability to identify, assess and engage potential mass shooters before they strike.” Barr called for the pre-crime program to be implemented in early 2020.

 

The blocking of state secrets related to the September 11 attacks is just the latest in a long line of cover ups and corrupt practices by Attorney General William Barr.

If it's any comfort, a lot of ppl who filed taxes in 2018 and 2019 by mail are waiting for checks by mail and haven't gotten them yet. Only direct deposit $$ are showing up so far. Tres. Sec. said that it would be early May before physical checks would show up. Some tried to say that POTUS' "signature" or name on the checks held this up. He says that is not true. BlackBerry has sued Facebook for IP theft. This is a tad like David calling out Goliath. Facebook is massive and is arguably the most successful of the social media companies, second only to Alphabet (Google) in terms of success with regard to ad revenue. Its model, once thought to be unsustainable after the dot-com collapse, is based on monetizing information and access from and to its customers. In effect, you are its product.

 

BlackBerry is a far smaller company. Once one of the smartphone powers, it and its peers were displaced by Apple and Google, forcing the company to pivot. This pivot, one of the most difficult, changed the firm from a smartphone company to a software/services company focused on security, autonomous cars, IoT, and fleet management (among other things). In effect, it went from a hardware company that was very insular, to a software/services company that operated under a licensing model that forces far more aggressive collaboration. The pivot was successful, though the company is still having issues transitioning how people see it.

 

Litigation isn’t an absolute process and generally favors the firm that can afford to spend the most on the effort. Here, that would be Facebook. However, there are exceptions to this rule and one of them is tied to whether the smaller firm has adequate resources and a greater will to win. That, I think, will eventually allow BlackBerry to win, but this will be an expensive process for both firms. Two things that could affect this, and also favor BlackBerry, would be if the firm were acquired or the Canadian government were to intercede on BlackBerry’s behalf. Both are possible, but unlikely, at this time.

I have worked as a Senior Data Analyst for the past 15 years and have worked with every analytics platform under the sun, from major fortune 100s to small to mid size businesses. Not ONCE not a single role have I ever used or even encountered "Quantcast" as an analytics platform. Ever.

I'm not saying its not a legit platform and I'm not saying it's not used by some big companies, I'm saying it is not an industry standard or widely used platform for web analytics. It's an ad serving measurement platform, its not a primary web analytics program. Note even close.

 

RED FLAG #2 - CNN uses 2016 web data as their benchmark for traffic growth. Major KEK here! No one does this. If use a benchmark from 4 years ago, this says you're in DECLINE! Why?

We benchmark data YoY (year over year) using the same month (ie: March 2020 vs March 2019) to measure growth. If you have to reach outside this variance…you are desparate for good story.

That was 1846, way before supercomputing was even a dream. Now, there is a growing body of evidence that points to an existence of "Planet 9" in our solar system, and we have the computing power to explore even further.

“ JBS USA on Monday announced it has closed its pork production facility in Worthington indefinitely amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

"We don't make this decision lightly," said Bob Krebs, President of JBS USA Pork. "We recognize JBS Worthington is critical to local hog producers, the U.S. food supply and the many businesses that support the facility each and every day."

 

JBS said the plant will wind down operations over the next two days with a diminished staff to ensure the existing product in the facility can be used to support the food supply. The company is then advising its employees to comply with the state's 'stay at home' order, but employees will be paid during the closure.

The company has also taken other safety measures, such as temperature testing employees prior to them entering facilities, providing extra protective equipment, promoting social distancing by staggering shifts and breaks, and increasing sanitation efforts.

 

On Friday, United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Union Local 633 said at least 19 employees at the plant had tested positive for COVID-19.

 

That rise in cases came a week after a Smithfield Pork Processing plant in nearby Sioux Falls, S.D. suddenly shut down because of an outbreak that turned it into one of largest coronavirus hotspots in the country.

 

JBS operates more than 60 meat, poultry and prepared food facilities in the U.S. The Worthington facility is now the third of their plants to close temporarily during the pandemic.

 

"As we all learn more about coronavirus, it is clear that the disease is far more widespread across the U.S. and in our county than official estimates indicate based on limited testing," Krebs said. "We have taken aggressive actions to keep coronavirus out of our plant and keep this critical infrastructure facility operational. It is our hope that Governor Walz's effort to implement more widespread community testing will help all of us better understand the measures we must all take to stop its potential spread. To meet a need for faster high-end Ethernet, 800GbE has become a formal specification, but the reality on the ground is that 400GbE shipments are just ramping up, and much lower speeds are what’s in common use.

 

Just as the stage is set for 400G Ethernet (GbE) to roll out in force later this year, mainly in hyperscaler, telco and large data-center networks, there is a call to boost that speed to 800GbE or even higher in the coming years.

 

The need for increased speed in data centers and cloud services speeds is driven by many things ithe continued growth of hyperscale networks from players like Google, Amazon and Facebook, but also the more distributed and mobile workloads modern networks support.

 

This month, the Ethernet Technology Consortium, previously known as the 25 Gigabit Ethernet Consortium, announced completion of a specification for 800GbE this year. The ETC has more than 45 members, among them Arista, Broadcom, Cisco, Dell, Google, Mellanox and Microsoft.

 

According to the group, the 800 GbE specification introduces a new media access control (MAC) and Physical Coding Sublayer (PCS). “It essentially re-purposes two sets of the existing 400GbE logic from the IEEE 802.3bs standard with a few modifications in order to distribute the data across eight 106 Gb/s physical lanes. As the PCS is reused, the standard RS(544, 514) forward error correction is retained, for simple compatibility with existing physical layer specifications,” the group stated. A lane can be a copper twisted pair or in optical cables a strand of fiber or a wavelength.

I have food, at least the most basic items 90 days out, used to be much more than that. I also sell produce at farmers market in summer but that is not happening this year. Disability wise have occipital neuralgia, migraines, arthritis, neck and shoulder damage which makes me useless to most employers.

For the U.S., this is not a good thing. China will gobble up oil at this low price and sell it for 1,000 times the price to countries who don't produce oil. Their economy will recover quite nicely. We don't want to see prices this low for many reasons. Lots of jobs here will be negatively impacted. Hopefully, white hat people will intervene to make sure we are protected. We should be stockpiling our strategic reserves as well (as POTUS quickly recommended.) He is RIGHT once again!

It's going to be weeks or months before we see low prices at the pump. Delivery trucks are backed up as far as you can see. The price those trucks paid for oil was higher so they will need to sell it to gas stations for a profit. The gas stations have to then sell it to us for a profit. So until distributors are buying it at a lower price, we won't see the benefit. Make sense? Did I miss anything Anons?
