New York Mosque Continues Operating During Coronavirus, No Word From Authorities

While virtually every church in the United States is shut down due to coronavirus, and those few willing to defy lockdown orders are threatened with arrest or hauled to jail, a New York mosque is operating with impunity during the pandemic.

The mosque, in Syracuse, New York, had its operating procedures detailed by gushing local media, which described how the facility has modified its practices to adhere with social distancing during the China virus pandemic.

Syracuse.com reported:

The room is lined with plastic, and two machines siphon air out of the room to create negative pressure. Air in the room is recycled every four minutes. Elahi used the materials and expertise from his day job to create what he called a “clean room.”

About 10 worshippers in masks are allowed in at a time, though rarely do that many show up. They stand far apart from each other as they follow a prayer leader standing on a plastic-covered prayer rug.

The building, formerly a Catholic church, is disinfected between services – not by cleaning professionals, but by volunteers – and video reveals those worshipers brave enough to leave their homes during the pandemic are not social distancing.

In video to YouTube uploaded by Syracuse.com, a small group of worshipers is seen praising Allah far less than six feet apart, failing to adhere to social distancing procedures and potentially defeating the purpose of worshiping in a room completely covered in plastic.

While this mosque is allowed to operate during the coronavirus pandemic, albeit under slightly modified procedures, Christians are being forced out of their churches across the country.

In Virginia, Governor Ralph Northam, who was exposed for wearing either blackface or Ku Klux Klan robes by National File senior reporter Patrick Howley, has classified churches as “non-essential,” meaning it is a crime for them to open at all.

In Kansas, two churches have sued the state over Governor Laura Kelly’s executive order placing severe restrictions on religious gatherings. The lawsuit has been successful, despite Kelly attempting to invalidate the district court judge’s decision by issuing a new executive order with virtually identical language.

It remains unclear why Governor Andrew Cuomo, who is reportedly being considered as a possible candidate to assume the role of often-confused Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election, is allowing the mosque to operate.

Four years ago, Craig Stephen Hicks, a mentally unstable man prone to terrorizing his neighbors in a Chapel Hill condo, regardless of race and creed, shot three of his neighbors. The three neighbors whom he shot over a parking dispute happen to be Muslim.

Hicks, a mentally unstable leftist, was a militant atheist, but no hater of Muslims. In a post about the Ground Zero Mosque, he wrote, “I’d prefer them to most Christians as I was never coerced in any way by the Muslims to follow their religion, which I cannot say about many Christians.”

“I’ve defended Muslims. I know Muslims,” he later told police. “I take pity on them, the way society treats them like they are lesser people.”

Nonetheless, Stevens got three 3 life sentences without parole .

Grafton Thomas is charged in an attack at a rabbi’s home on Dec. 28 that left five people wounded.

The most critically injured victim,Josef Neumann, 72, died three months after the attack.

Judge Cathy Siebel ruled that Thomas should be committed to a treatment facility for no more than four months.

The ruling only applies to Thomas’ trial for federal hate crimes.

He’s also been indicted on state charges including attempted murder. He has pleaded not guilty.

Add this to the growing list of the coronavirus‘ awful toll on victims: a symptom that produces a strange buzzing sensation throughout their body.

The side effect, reported by patients sharing their symptoms on Twitter, is now being described as “fizzing,” and is one of the more mysterious marks of the illness. Doctors on the frontlines of treating the illness tell The Post it may be one of the last sensations patients feel as their bodies fight the disease.

Other symptoms of the deadly disease include a loss of smell and taste, fever, aches, breathlessness, fatigue, a dry cough, diarrhea, strokes and seizures, and for some, no symptoms at all.

But as more and more patients share the effects of the illness online, many are finding they have the strange new symptom, too. One patient, @miafia, who felt the sensation since the first day of her symptoms, described it as “an electric feeling on my skin.”

Tarana Burke, known as the founder of the #MeToo movement, shared that her partner had the illness and had a burning feeling on his skin that was so severe, “his skin felt like it was burning.”

“Even when he barely had a fever of 99+ we literally used aloe gel for sunburn to soothe it,” she wrote on Twitter. “The NP later told us she had heard others say that too.”

Even infamous influencer Arielle Charnas reported some “skin sensitivity” when she first came down with the virus.

Doctors say the symptom is not terribly common, but may be part of an autoimmune response that effects patients’ nervous system.

“Clearly it’s been identified, but we’re just not sure yet how widespread it is,” Dr. Daniel Griffin, chief of infectious disease at ProHealth Care Associates, tells The Post.

Griffin, who estimates that he’s seen about 50 coronavirus a day since the outbreak took hold of New York, says he’s heard mention of the reaction.

There may be several reasons for it, he and others say. The feeling may be the result of disease-fighting “antibodies interfering with the way nerves work,” but adds that neurologists still aren’t sure if it’s our body’s response to the virus or the virus itself causing the feeling.

The sensation may also be tied to a fever, says Dr. Vipul Shah, Clinical Director at telehealth service Pack Health.

“If people aren’t used to having fevers, maybe their skin really does feel like an electric sensation,” he says. He advises using an aloe vera gel or mild lotion could help.

Griffin also suspects the reaction, or other cognitive reactions like it, may be a symptom of post-traumatic stress after patients recover from being in the ICU or on ventilators.

“People are used to being sick and then in a few days being all good,” he says. “This infection seems to have this tail to it — a lingering fatigue. There’s kind of a foggy, zombie-like state, where their eyes get glassy and they’re not quite as sharp.”

But the feeling alone may not be enough to go get tested, Shah says.

“It’s not a symptom that’s been well described yet, so just make sure you’re still following isolation procedures,” such as covering your mouth when you cough and washing your hands frequently, Shah says.

For patients experiencing the sensation, Griffin recommends letting the body recover on its own.

“It’s bothersome but benign,” he says. “[Patients’] cognition seems to be doing better with us just waiting. The human body is a pretty impressive construct and often will get better.”

In a video posted to the platform on April 17, Curtis explained how women seeking “reproductive health” guidance without access to a clinic could “log on” to a designated Planned Parenthood site for a “virtual meeting” with abortion doctors.

“Hi there! It’s Jamie Lee Curtis,” the actress began, giving viewers a warm greeting from quarantine in her home. “I am here today on behalf of Planned Parenthood to tell you about telehealth. It’s their way of helping you through this crisis.” And isn’t that something? PP would just love to add to the pandemic’s death count.

The actress explained “Telehealth,” saying, “It offers you to log on and make an appointment and then have a private, one-on-one sesson with a trained and licensed healthcare professional and talk about your healthcare needs.” Curtis added that it’s done “in complete privacy and safety and it also reduces the load on clinics and hospitals who are dealing everyday with COVID-19 patients.”

The actress concluded the spiel by providing the number to Planned Parenthood’s Telehealth program and details on where patients can log in online. She then signed off saying, “Stay safe, wash your hands, stay home and God bless you all.” Yes, God bless us and the lengths we will go to eradicate the unborn life He has given us. Atrocious.

Though this is just one of the makeshift efforts PP has come up with for women who might not feel safe venturing to an abortion clinic in the midst of quarantine, and as a way to still offer services in states like Texas, Alabama and Arkansas, to name a few, that have deemed abortion clinics to be “non-essential” businesses.

Though the left has been adamant that abortions during the quarantine are at the height of necessity. One odious talking point in particular came from Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-MN) who claimed that abortions “are life-sustaining,” and refused suspending abortion procedures. This resulted in the horrible irony that the pool of medical supplies for necessary procedures during a pandemic would go to saving coronavirus victims and killing unborn babies.

Back to Jamie Lee Curtis. This isn’t her first Planned Parenthood rodeo. The actress participated in a tele-thon-style Facebook Live event to benefit Planned Parenthood and the ACLU back in 2017, along with other famous faces like Jane Fonda, Judd Apatow, Patricia Arquette and Tim Robbins. Though this celebrity-sponsored telehealth thing, man, this sounds like the future. Maybe in 10 years, we’ll have Daniel Craig guiding us through DIY euthanasia at home.

Move to take Winter Olympics away from China gathers momentum in conservative circles

A call to take the upcoming Winter Olympic games from China as a penalty for purportedly failing to sufficiently notify the world about a coronavirus outbreak is gaining steam in conservative circles.

Among the first to propose the idea was Hugh Hewitt, a conservative thought leader and syndicated radio talk show host.

Hewitt addressed the issue Friday on his radio show with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

“They’ve lied about some big things,” Hewitt said about leaders of the Chinese Communist Party. “I don’t know that I would trust them to put on the Olympic games if they told us it was safe to do it. Do you think the Olympic games scheduled for Beijing in 2022 ought to be moved?”

Pompeo deferred, saying he’s focused on immediate issues related to the virus and that the Trump administration will “have to take a look at that.”

However, he argued that the Communist Party has in just the past few years failed to live up to several big responsibilities and promises — including no arms to South Pacific islands and improving human rights in China, a situation that Pompeo called a “humanitarian catastrophe.”

Countries worldwide are raising concerns about whether China provided accurate and timely information about the virus, which the country says was first detected in late 2019 and traced to a wildlife market in the province of Wuhan.

Additional concerns include whether the World Health Organization also provided inaccurate and tardy information, in an attempt to perhaps help China.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, another leading conservative voice, on Monday advanced Hewitt’s idea, which he called “brilliant.” Gingrich suggested the games be held in Torino, Italy — among the regions hardest hit by the virus and site of the 2006 Olympic Winter games.

“That would be the kind of gesture that would really begin to communicate that the world is fed up with the way the dictatorship operates,” Gingrich said on the Fox News Channel’s morning “Fox & Friends” show.

He also cited research from the conservative-leaning Hudson Institute and the University of Southhampton, in England, suggesting that China’s response to the virus perhaps cost tens of thousands of lives.

“The Chinese Communist Party deliberately lied and got its puppet, the World Health Organization, to deliberately lie,” Gingrich, who was in Rome on Monday, said.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) stated during a recent television appearance that he would be willing to double the funding for the World Health Organization (WHO) if technocratic oligarch Bill Gates were put at the helm of the organization.

Graham made the shocking statement during an appearance on ABC’s “The View” last week. He is using his clout to advocate for Gates to take over the embattled globalist institution.

“I’m in charge of the appropriations over the WHO, at least a part of it, and what I want is to see a change in leadership because I think they’ve conspired with China to downplay the nature of the virus, that they reported all through January that there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission,” Graham said.

“I’ve lost confidence. The money that is being suspended will go to other people throughout the world to deal with health issues. The WHO has great scientists, but it’s lost confidence. I’ve lost confidence in the leadership,” he added.

After criticizing the WHO, he mentioned Gates as an individual who could seize control over the organization and do a better job.

“So a guy like Bill Gates, if Bill Gates was in charge of the WHO, I would double the funding because I think we need a WHO, but he’s not,” Graham said.

If Graham received his wish and Gates were put in charge of the WHO, it would give him massive power to institute his diabolical and Orwellian schemes.

It was the next part of his answer that alarmed individuals concerned with protecting medical freedom and privacy rights.

“Eventually we will have some digital certificates to show who has recovered or been tested recently or when we have a vaccine who has received it,” Gates said.

Reddit users were immediately thunderstruck with Gates’ ominous response and were scrambling for a clarification from the former Microsoft CEO that never came.

“Digital certificates? Are you saying each person individually will receive a document that says we were tested? Can that be used against us?” a Reddit user posted.

“No, he’s saying Microsoft and MIT developed “tatoo (sic) markers” that show whether you have recieved (sic) a vaccine or not. This will be coupled with Gate’s (sic) new invention, ID2020, which is a digital ID microchip implanted under the skin,” another Reddit user said to explain Gates’ motives.

Graham’s solution to the problem of the WHO’s incompetence and corruption would make the situation drastically worse.
