"A few days ago, the liberal media jumped for glee, a new report from the Senate Intelligence Committee appears to confirm that Russia meddled in the 2016 election. To be more accurate, they confirmed what some in the intelligence committee had released in 2017. I mean, I just shrug. For me, there was never a doubt that the Russians tried to interfere, I just don’t think $100,000 in Facebook memes was enough to sway the election. Also, there remains zero evidence of a Trump-Kremlin collusion plot during the 2016 election. Foreign governments interfering in other nation’s elections is nothing new, sorry. It’s not. Can we move on from this? The US did this often in the Cold War era and during the 2014 Israeli elections. Russia still does it often with its former Soviet neighbors. Welcome to geopolitics, liberal media. And folks, like Deep State Ken here from NBC News, just need to go under a rock and stay there for the ensuing three centuries for peddling this collusion myth, which was solely based on a document—the Steele dossier—that has been roundly refuted as inaccurate garbage. It is, after all, a piece of biased political opposition research funded by the Clinton campaign and compiled by former MI6 spook Christopher Steele. For two years, these liberal journalists engulfed the nation in a fairy tale. And this dossier, also known and the Trump dossier, was used to secure a spy warrant against former Trump campaign aide Carter Page, whose life has been ruined by the allegation that he was somehow the Dark Lord of the Sith in this alleged mythical plot. It was a hoax, a fantastic lie that was never at any point backed up by any solid evidence. It was just liberal hot air and bias keeping this corpse of a narrative alive, until ex-Special Counsel Robert Mueller and Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz shot it all to hell, a political double-tap."

"John Brennan, even though serving as CIA director beneath previous President Barack Obama, dismissed intelligence that Russia preferred Hillary Clinton to gain the U.S. presidential election in 2016, an ex-intelligence officer argued in an op-ed revealed on Wednesday.

Disregarding objections from CIA analysts, John Brennan, the CIA director turned NBC and MSNBC contributor, “suppressed” intelligence that Russian President Vladimir Putin favored Clinton, Fred Fleitz, who served as the White House Countrywide Protection Council main of team in 2018, wrote in the editorial carried by Fox News.

Yet, a bipartisan report issued by the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday backs the U.S. intelligence community’s assertion that Russia meddled in the 2016 election to support then-candidate Donald Trump defeat Hillary Clinton. American intelligence officials reached that conclusion throughout the Obama administration.

The Senate report dismissed revelations lately declassified by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector Typical (IG) that a Russian disinformation marketing campaign tried to tarnish Trump, the exact same gentleman that intelligence officers and the Senate panel assert to be favored by Putin."

Is John Durham Working on a RICO-Style Case?

"It is interesting, if nothing else. – One interesting aspect of U.S. Attorney John Durham’s decision to bring the Chief of the violent crimes and narcotics trafficking section for the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington, D.C., Anthony Scarpelli, onto his investigation team is that Scarpelli has been a specialist in RICO-type investigations over the last decade. His job has been to identify domestic and international drug trafficking networks and bring the major players to justice, as he and his team did in the example described at this link.

In response to the piece on this that I posted last night, one cynical reader responded that Scarpelli is nothing more than a guy who was sitting around right now with nothing to do, so Durham brought him in to get him some work. Who knows – that could be right. On the other hand, he has been in charge of a team of 23 attorneys and 20 support staff, so what are those 43 people going to be doing in his absence?

On the other hand – which seems more likely, frankly – Durham may have identified Scarpelli as having the skillset needed to help make whatever case or cases he is planning to bring. Such cases would be brought against what we all know was a complex international conspiracy run out of the DOJ and FBI first to fix the 2016 election and then to execute a coup d’etat on American soil. This cabal wasn’t trafficking in drugs, but it was trafficking in disinformation and propaganda, and, as last December’s Horowitz Report and the recently-declassifed footnotes and margin notes clearly document, using what it knew to be false information in order to defraud the FISA court."
