>>8921373 By "branching off," I mean that there are feeders, tributary timelines, entering into the main trunk lines. All with the same ultimate intention, but each one from a unique niche. To my mind, those 2 main lines then battle ferociously over each marker that they encounter, certain phenomena clusters that each side has identified in advance as critical, because whoever can establish their will at the nexus, has demonstrated at least temporary control of the actual timeline, with an advantage toward controlling the timeline at whichever future marker represents THE marker, the decision point of victory or defeat.
