If you trusted your eyes/gut and were never indoctrinated by "trust-us smart people" in education and every media form ever to exist, then you wouldn't have ever constructed/concluded that you live on a spinning ball tilted 66.6º at .666 curvature flying 66,600 mph thru space. You WOULD believe it was flat.
