Claiming that God is for you is not the same as claiming that you are for God.

Not going to debate further. If I can't make my point with you in two attempts, I'm not going to improve matters by spending the entire evening trying.

Armies have historically claimed the support of God while doing things that God has not commanded them to do. When both sides in a conflict (as is often the case) claim that God is with them, it's for guaran-damned-teed certain that at least one of them is not with God.
